Anarchtical based society
This is group is made up of anarchist from the US who are seeking a new land to set up a new society after being persecuted by the government back on Earth. They all worked with eachother in their underground operations back on Earth. After the government secretly began to eliminate many of the political radicals a large number of the persecuted banded together to form the AA (not alchoholics anonymous... the Anarchist Army). Together, through the use of guerilla warfare they were able to deal heavy blows to military instalations, navy vessels and even a few space stations. Eventually the government pinned them down and the majority of the people were killed. The few that survived led by "Ace" decided to leave this planet for good and create a free society some where else.

In and open fight the anarchist army would always lose but their use of guerilla warfare is what allowed them to win many of the battles that they fought. The remaining members of the AA have a mastery of using these tactics and will use them in all encounters with hostiles. The AA's military is autonamous and instead of a general deciding where and who to fight the people themselves will attack who they believe they should in small groups of close friends

Group Members
"Ace": Although there are no offical leaders in the group "Ace" is definitely the one who takes charge. He was one of the founders of the group back on Earth and it was his Idea to travel to a new planet after the group suffered a large defeat by the US. He is a master of guerilla warfare and would coordinate and participate in many of the attacks that took place making him a great strategist and skilled combatant.

"Sly": The woman responsible for getting proper funding for the AA's attacks and more recently the money for the transport of the AA. She has gotten money through many ways from bullying, stealing, or "persuading" (either by force or by using her amazing beauty to her advantage). Recently she has gotten into the pirateering buisness and has stolen enough goods to fund the entire vessel to the new planet. It is also rumored that her and Ace are in a relationship.

"Fists": A master of the martial arts he has personally trained nearly all of surviving AA members. Originally he was in the green berets of the United States army but after his best friend died after being sent on a suicide mission to get the country more money he quit the armed services and discovered his new beliefs. Ever since then he has been on the front lines against the government and was widely feared among his enemies.

"Wrench": Originally just a car mechanic, Wrench discovered that he was able to make nearly anything from mere junk. Growing up with Ace he had many of the same beliefs and joined his cause. He was responsible for many of the weapons and technology that the AA was able to use, making most of it from junk yard parts and scavenged items.

The AA was underground on Earth not just in spirit but also physically, as any of them above ground would be killed. Therefore they are used to living underground and most of their residential areas would be dug instead of built. This also gives them some experience with mining although it is not that great.

Most other members of the AA are either people from the working class who were fed up with the system or intelectuals who had given politics a deep thought. This gives them a wide variety of skills needed to do manual labor as well as some higher thinking skills.

What it all means.


To start with all your people can fight and fight hard. You are experienced warriors used to fighting overwelming odds. You don't back down so you have a solid reputation that will bring people to your banner. Also everyone has extra gear from combat. Much of it is combat tested equipment that has been captured. Among the items though are some of the most up to date assault rifles, riot armor (great for close combat and melee), and Alien grenades. Well Outlaw status is not something one would really want. The United States which is part of the Earth Alliance will always put pressure on others not to trade with you or give you helpl, but one man's outlaw is another man's hero. Some like you for putting up a good fight. University Experience makes it easy for you to setup a learning friendly enviroment and found a solid school system. Many brings books, laptops, charts, research material and contacts in the academic world. Well you have some hard working folks who will easily fit into the role as colony builders. They work hard and have practical experience. As always experience is hard to find.



200 Expendables...

Expendables are a result of human use of alien technology. Cloned by the thousands to make workers to man the massive Lunar cave complexes captured from the aliens (space for over a billion personnel and the moon was only considered an outpost by the aliens). Expenables look human in every way, but were created using an alien program and act how they think humans should. Most humans can order them around easily and they are always the followers. They do enjoy sex and having fun like humans but are always work minded and are sterile.

Each is equipped with black combat boots, white jumpsuits, tool box, laptop, pistol, climbing gear and rope, backpack and mess kit.

Like the name suggests most don't think to highly of these clones and use them for dangerous jobs.

In this case your Expendables are all female (decided at random).

200 Bots

Short little human looking robots with skinny arms and legs and heads that look like a motorcycle helmet. The can lift up to 500lbs and are very versed in computers and can download many training programs. They have been known to do welding, computer repair, and even make coffee.

Items include everything from books on political and military topics to black goth clothing to exotic knives, and candles and strange art. Details

Power Generation: Energy production will be handled in a diversified, eco-friendly manner using a combination of self-launching solar collection satellites, and waste-to-biomass fusion. Further wind and geothermal power collection will be explored in Year 2.

Colony Layout: The proposed colony requires a mere 5 square miles of cleared and leveled land to operate at peak efficiancy. A segmented permacrete wall will surround the 4 skyscrapers, microwave reciever, waste processing plant, manufacturing plant, storm door generator, and spaceport facility.

Defense: The low-impact nature of the colony will not likely draw any negative attention from native populations, which could be dealt with our existing security forces regardless. This leaves other colonies as the primary threat to the experiment. Increased power diversification and production will allow the storm door to function for prolonged periods, this should be accomplished by Year 2.

How long before we make the planet and do you want more interplay before we touch down?

I am ready to go unless you need us all to shore up our colonies with more work. Maybe you could give us some more definate information on the planet. You said there was three continents with the six sites on the best area. I had invisioned a large plain with water, vegetation and good soil for farming. Like I said at the banquet, mountains to the north, a large lake east, swamps and marshes to the south and a ocean to the west. That puts us in the middle.

Two of the continents including the one described are interlocked and you can cross through mountain passes in the very distant East. Seems though Colony Inc folks have left out a lot besides the six sites (which you have filled in accordingly with more surprises and facts to follow once your on the ground). Curiously enough there is a complete lack of information of animal life, and Alien activities in the area. Seems they are leaving out alot....wonder why. Oh and this is among the first planets company had a charter for and among the last to have settlers to head to it....


Whenever your done interacting I am ready to go...since players are so close at least in this part of the thread my normal rule of a post being three months of game time doesn't fit. If I don't see any new stuff in the next little while I will post L-DAY information.

Galactic Colonization

Andrew awoke early and prepared for the comming day. My morning exercise completed, a shave and shower followed. I dressed and went to the small breakfast bar located near by. Two strong cups of coffee and my favorite cinamon bun loaded with rasins and now I could face the day.

I returned to my apartment and woke the rest of the family and told them to be in the dinning room in fifteen minutes for a must be there family meeting. I gave my wife a kiss and a large hug. We made the accord with Cahir and Erin Nova for us to be an independent state with fidelity to Erin Nova and the King Cahir O'Dochartaigh. Let's go down to the family meeting.

My two sons were already at the table, waiting for us to join them. Mon and Dad entered carring a tray of drinks, juice, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Tonight, Your Father, Uncle Robert and Uncle Edward will pledge our fidelity to King Cahir O'Dochartaigh and Erin Nova and we will be invested in the Order of Saint Patrick. During the ceremony, your mother will put on my sword and place the Order of Saint Patrick medals around my neck. Aunt Lena will Do the same for Andrew. Robert, being without a lady, and Your mother and I are asking you to do the honors.

Anne: Father, you know that I would do anything for Uncle Bob. It would be an honor to do that. Can I tell Uncle Bob, please, I want to tell him.

Edward: Met with his wife Lena and explained ecerything to her. She was amazed and yet excited about this new part of the adventure. The boys are to be in suits and wear our tarten to show where they belong. The children will all be together and he three oldest, Andre Jr, Robert Jr. and Allen and will be in uniform and we do have an honor guard too. Now see to you chours and make ready. I will let you Know when we must be ready to meet in the council hall.

Agusta Perez: She sat around the table as she filled them in and told them that they were going tonight too. They were to wear their Flight Uniforms with all trim and braid. I am going to wear a gown that will set these guys on their collective ear. She smiled and said as she left, let's get crackin boys we have a lot to do today.

WrencH and Shorty got out there best uniforms and had them cleaned and pressed. This was going to be the snappiest group at the party. We were going into another camp and we were invited. Great fun....

Bishop Martin; He did two things, first an invocation at the meeting of the colonists and then an appropriate prayer at tonight's ceremony.


So the day had started and already the news of the alliance had made it through the ship via the ships gossip system. Not all the facts were correct of complete. It would another eight hours until after the GEM meeting that most of the data will become available, less some data. Andrew, Robert and Edward made sure not all got out except what we wanted. Thi was going to be another GOOD DAY................................

Hey every one I just got back from vacation, so I can post again.

Two things first to Macmillian; I don't think it really matters if they have the same name and their personalities seem different (your guy seems more like a buff garage mechanic where as my guy sounds like the geeky computer guy). I thought that I had the name first but I guess it is possible that i overread it.

To Jagged; in the post that you made detailing my group you missed a character that I added named Virus(it changed things a bit in the second post from the first post) and I also changed the story around a little bit. Just telling you so theres no problems later.

Also when is take off day out of curiositity
