As For the revoloution I felt it was a work in progress who know where it will go. I still entertain fantasies of making my way back freeing some of the captives and escaping to antigua. But as the story grows I am changed by those I interact with. case in point Monique. Im not sure wher my char is going now but I agree with a litlle collaboration and compromise there isnt anything we cant do.

You are so right....we are all dealing with real folks here, playing off of how others are viewing what is being written and having to react with what we are given. Plots can be formed, but those can change as others move into unexpected positions.

I think what has made this thread so popular - as well as a blast to be part of - is that it DOES have a plot. And with that mystery comes the attitude of "Whoa, why did he/she do that? And what do I do now??"

I would also second SW's recommendation that if people are confused, or if they wish to collaborate in some way, emails and PMs work great. Everybody here has been very easy to approach, so don't be shy.

Heh, don't worry about waiting for Monique. Right now, she is 100% dependent on Carlos. She is exhausted after her latest trials, and extremely weak from bloodloss - which continues. So, even if Carlos decided to return her to town, she will not be up to doing anything (though when she learns of what happened, she would, of course, demand that she joins in - yeah right - "I must...I must s-sav... >thud<).

Regarding Monique's rescue, that depends on Carlos/Inkubus. My favourite idea, and he may be entirely against this, is for him to limp back to town with me and at least a little understanding (even if after a row) allows Hawke etc to see he rescued me, so he's ok, even if needing to be watched. I like the idea of coming to and talking to him... already have a monologue roughed out in my head.

On the other hand, Carlos' attitudes may be different. He _might_ want to drag me further into the island and see if he can't rescue me himself. Fine, let him and we'll take it from there. He _might_ want to flee before we are found, in which case I ask that someone find me, or I will have my character die (without aid she would, of course).

So, basically, check what Inky does in the next post or two (and inkubus, please do post so they know how to go), and take it from there. Thanks, guys.

Heh I like that, Hi Guys, I'll be the first to admit I have NO idea where this is going. I didnt even know when or how we were going to get out of this one. Bad Form did a great job of towing the story along so I would be remiss if I just walked off in another tangent. To be honest Bad Forms Idea sounds good, I think the whole heart to heart monolougue would work great , Im POSITIVE that Carlos would never just abandon her and would risk capture to get her back to people who can heal her. As for turning myself over to them...the prob I have is Carlos is so damn proud , he wouldnt lie to them so If they asked him if he was going to try to play nice or try to escape he would admit he wasnt going to play nice. He would probably be at the heart of the whole rebellion issue, although now hes torn...Ill be honest and say that good rp will be respected and My char is still in motion, so we will see how it will turn out.

Anyone remember that old sit-com "Soap"? Hmmm... catch-up for Elizabeth Hawke:

Hoping to take revenge on the Church of Rome, Jeremiah takes Sister Therese to the chapel, where he discovers new depths to the woman's soul.

Navigator Mark, in trying to meet up with Jeremiah, runs around town like a headless chicken. The one thing he discovers is that Elizabeth has been kidnapped by the woman she was having sex with. He searches for his captain and finds him in the chapel, just as the captain is about to divest the nun of her bad habits. At the same time, a captive noblewoman decides Hawke may be more captiv-ating than she realised and asks to see his bed chamber.

Elizabeth is held captive by a growing mob of black-clad individuals calling themselves the Warriors of Seth. Their leader appears to be either Black Bart's sister, or a strange magician. Who can tell?

Bart himself is using this time to get better acquainted with Clarissa, who seems to have a desire to become the chief naval designer for a whole new Hawkean fleet.

Meanwhile, having fallen down a sinkhole, Monique wins the heart of the proud spanish captive captain by ravishing him, gets half eaten by pirahna as she then tries to rescue him. He ends up dragging her back to the pirate township, where an uneasy truce is struck with Jeremiah Hawke.

Will Jeremiah write a new version of "Torn Between Two Lovers"?
Do the Warriors of Seth want to carry on the bedrom exploits on board ship?
Can Bart and Clarissa hoist the mainsail for the twentieth time in one night?
And if ravishment is what wins de la Vega's heart, shoul Monique fasten him in the stocks, whip him, beat him, and make him write bad czechs?

None of these or any other questions will be answered in the next episode of "Hawkes At Sea: A Pirate Fantasy".

Okay, the rebels are still active, this we know. Once Jeremiah can assemble the officers, he will be reading them a message from the magician concerning Elizabeth...and we will plan together how to meet their threat.
