back online.......now on my old computer thanks to a new D-link. Though I have been thinking all good things must come to an end..........we shall see.

A good things must come to an end....

Seems this last stretch I have had trouble coming up with good ideas. Been a struggle really and I have loved writing for you all and with you all. It has been a labor of love perhaps one I haven't thought out as well as should. Learned a lot though and want to keep writing. So with a heavy heart I must call an end to this thread. It has evolved and taught me much about writing and given me the strength to begin to work on my novel. This wasn't easy to write and I will remain active here on Lit....and trying to keep the standards high. This was the first long running roleplay thread that had the players as leaders...One of the few I believe to survive here in online roleplay.


Thanks to everyone for writing and for all those who read the posts as the story unfolded. Like the end of a great concert tour it is better to have them wish you did one more show then to wish you would just stop going out on tour. Thanks all and look for future threads.......this one may even be reborn. Take care.

Dressed as Prussian General as ususal the War god takes off his hat and bows to the warriors around the camp fire and bids them well as they return to their lands. He climbs ontop a white charge and rides off with his standard bearer into the distance. One last view of him in the fire light is him on his horse up on its two legs as he lifts his hat.......a salute to a great campaign.

Aww. I really had a good time with this thread. You don't get long lasting roleplays like this often, especially with an evolving storyline.

Are you shitting me???? Damn...this thread was the reason I came out of lurking way back when...I hate to leave my Romans on the edge of...whatever they were on the edge of.

Very flattering people but I think it is time to leave the party......I have new thread ideas and I hope you will find them interesting and give them your same support. You all have been great. I do have a new incarnation in mind, but it will take time.

no the party does not end when a guest leaves but it does end if the host leaves or even if party does not end venue needs to be changed but jagged we do not want the host to leave in our case go on

Actually, I had the idea if taking over as the 'director' for this thread, with the Creators permission of course...and maybe Jagged could take a hand in playing his own creation for a change

Tragically, I just don't have the time for it... Does anyone else want to try and step up?

1. As Someone Who Got Into This Game Because You Asked Me To I'm Disappointed At The Ending
2. Your Other Games Have Failed, Not Horrably But Failed Due To Crappy Players Except Mantra, Elyane, & Myself. So Why End Something That A. I Know You Like B. Your Good At. & C We All Enjoy.
3. I Know You Hit A Road Block Every Once & A While But Ending A Good Campain Is Not The Answer. Putting It On Hold Is One Thing But To End The Game Will Leave A Sour Taste In Your Players' Mouth And I Don't Think You Want That.
So Friend To Friend & Player To Gm Please Take Sometime And Really Rethink Your Idea.
