Yes, that's what I loved about Faith too. In a world of superheros, she's a fragile thing that boldly goes out and tries to do good.

But last I remember she'd escaped from a gang and was wandering about, a broken shell...

I'll read up on where Mary is and stuff and let you know. She's been through much more than this before, it's just a matter of finding the right key to turn the lock.

I suppose it doesn't matter now. ST and I had this whole back history how Mary was the key to the Loa, she knew how to read their language and was found living there when the first explorers found the site but was kept under wraps. That's why she always lived so subversivly. She knew people were after her, but she couldn't remember who or why.

Hey, it look like all my favorite writers are still talking about this story. It makes me happy. I think it about it too, and I miss you all. And if I'm reading this and you're reading this, well then I guess we could be writing more Loa Blood.

Nia still needs to find her children and Valous is with out her body.

Mary looks at Faith, Faith looks at Mary. They hold hands and child like Mary smiles shyly.

"We're in." Faith says, grinning.

But, can we have a semi new start? Faith wandering around broken in the desert....naw. Don't wanna.

If we skip some time say as little as a month, I assume getting out of a desert is possible.

Okay Succubus. The walking around broken in the desert thing was my idea anyway. I'll be happy to do a bit of a restart. I love Faith as a character and want to include her in a way that makes you happy.

So, it's been 3 years since Monolith destroyed Bay City to save it from the antmen. What has Faith been doing?

During this time, Nia has been training with the Cold Blood Ninja, and is now on the search for her missing children. Valous's mind has just escaped from the Pyramid, but her body is still captive there. Monolith has just arrisen from his long sleep, and has been ordered to leave Argo or surrender.

When last we saw Faith, she was helping with disaster relief, and mapping incidents of Cuckoo crimes. Kate Becket had cryptically given her directions to a small desert town (Langly?). Did she follow those directions and find what was there? Where is she? Did she find another university (maybe in Argopolis where Nia is?) Where is Mary?

I'm excited about getting back to this.

Faith would have graduated by now, moved to a new city, broken up with the cop and be single again. She'd keep in touch with Mono-boy and keep working to free her country from the Dicator, in fact, I think that's where I'll be going with her...freeing um...where ever it was...or getting her family out at the very least.

Mary and Kell where setting up house, in a twisted sort of way, but we've lost that JC unless you send a heart felt plea, maybe?

I'll keep her on hold til we find out....

Oh, it's almost time for the fair and I doubt I'll be posting much between 5th and the 21st...just FYI

I'm not sure if that'll work, but last I checked (2 years ago maybe?) JC did allow people to email her from lit. I really do wonder what she is up to.

Faith could be working as a reporter anywhere in Argo. If she were in Argopolis, it would be easy for her and nia to meet up. With the success of her exclusive report on Kate Beckett, and her insider coverage of the rise of the Crusher and fall of Bay City, she could be well-placed, and influential. She could have contacts that would alert her when Monolth reappeared, and be able to go looking for him before any other media. She hasn't seen him in 3 years, since he revealed to her that he was her sister Hope's fiance.

Hope, and the rest of Faith's family, is back in Locrir, under the control of the dictator Romero. It would be great if Faith and Monolith finally went back to Locrir together.

Kell could have disappeared after Coda pulled out of Bay City. Mary probably would have waited for him for a while, but would have eventually moved, changed forms, and started a new life. If she has let herself age naturally for 3 years, then some of her memory could be returning.

I'll put both girls in Argopolis; Faith working her forgein political colum and Mary owning and running a small bristo cafe called Kell's, figuring that if Kell survivied he'd be curious what it was.

I'd like to keep as much of the existing IC material as possible. So Monolith was last seen at the south of Argo, where the swamps south of Bridges meet the Svetlan sea. He was surrounded by representatives of Argo's military, Coda, GAIA, the Cold Blood, and the Killer Bees, all very interested in what he's going to be doing now that he's resurrfaced and who's side he's on. Between his superleaping and his earth-melding, he could travel anywhere in the world pretty fast though. How about if he leaves Argo and meets up with Valous in the Svetlan desert?

Cool idea for Mary. So she is still the same age, with her memories of Kell and Bay City intact? Maybe Nia can stop at the cafe.
