OOC: Loa Blood

Yikes, Optimas, that matter merging seems very powerful. I'm glad it only works at night. If you're saying it uses up a lot of energy, remember that it will drain you afterward, and sometimes you will run out of energy.

Good writing, though. Welcome aboard.

My computer was stolen, and I will be posting less often until I get that sorted out. Do what you will.

*Blinks* Polite, oh my... I thought Lit was dead to you or some such. Well good to see you

Yes, but my experince is when that happens people stop attending lit, permently.

True, I've seen that happen as well, but much like SwampThing I've been in transit etc, etc. Comp broken. Evicted, Mom had a stroke...So much crap, so little time!

There is an advantage in not expecting people to return, and that is how nice it is when they return.

Sorry to here abou your mother.

Four years ago this month Loa Blood was started, and it still is my fave RP. I wish...oh well...*sigh*

With some luck Swamp will return soon and we can progress again. I still want to try and bring Nia's older brother into the plot.

edit: Wait four years ago? I've been on lit for five years? This amazes me. (Odd I hadn't noticed this earlier.)

Hey Polite, great to see you. I'm so glad people keep coming back here, Loa Blood has definately been one of my all time best roleplaying experiences.

Finally ready to start up again. Who's reading this? Let me know if you're in, and I'll post IC for your character.

Here is the thing. I am in but don't give me anything to post on for 2 weeks. I have home work and at this poit my apathy to it is quite high, so I'd rather not incraese the time I spend on lit. Give me 2 weeks and I should be a grad, assumeing the apathy for school work doesn' get to high.

Hey, guys. :D It's been a while!

Wow, I must be so behind, but-- if you guys are starting again after a hiatus, gosh, I'm down to join again. :) I mean, I don't know how often I'll be around what with school intensity and summer plans, but... I have a lot of fond memories too, now that I think about it, hehehe.

ST's quote is so flattering, hahaha. I'd forgotten all about Kell Claudas. I wonder what he's been up to...

I'll start keeping an eye on this thread again. :D

Hey sweet! JC and Polite back! I'm not really into spending a lot of time on here anymore either, but it would be cool to write an end to this story.

Polite, I'd be sorry to see Faith retire, I always thought her quietly heroic human perspective was very important. And the last we saw of her she was on the trail of the Cuckoo, which is a loose thread I'd really like to get into. And what aout her poor sister?

Mary could be anywhere. I posted a while back about her being imprisoned and experimented on in the Pyramid on Amun Island. Valous ad Fenris just escaped from the Pyramid, so Mary could be out there wandering the desert with them, or still on the loose inside the Pyramid. Or I'd be happy to back up and rewrite that scene, and say she was never captured. That scene could have even been a flashback for her or something. So where did she go after Monolith finally destroyed Bay City? Where has she been for the last 3 years?

Did Kell stay in the ruins of the ruins of Bay City to help the survivors heal and rebuild? Did Coda keep him locked away experimenting on him (I mean training him), or did they reassign him somewhere else?

Remember that there's the whole world to play with. Monolith and Niki are at the south coast of Argo, on the Svetlan sea. Nia and Sparks are north in Argopolis. Leos is living in Reva, near the mountains of Locrir (still under dictatorship control). Valous and Fenris are on the run in the Amun desert. And the Crusher is ... missing. That can't be good.

If an ending is the goal, what loose ends are there that you want to wrap up? Randomcurious question, also I missed most f Polite and JC, and never read the first section, so this may be informative.

Hmm, let me think.

I have a feeling that unless Kell was kept seriously busy he would have ditched and started looking for Mary a long time ago, especially since Amy probably wouldn't need his help anymore. I'm thinking Amy helped out in Bay City for quite some time before her parents finally insisted she go to college, and so she's just finished her first year (at Bridges University or something, hahaha, wherever) and is planning on pre-med. It would be fun to involve her a little but of course only in a minor role. I do wonder what happened with those masked folks and Hotaru though-- and I'm sure Amy does too!

Kell "The Purifier" Claudas, though still incapable of full-fledged projectile tossing status -- at which point he would be a veritable Zeus -- has acquired much more advanced control over energy in all its forms and using it for a small field effect, his body and muscles have become far more adapted to the strain of sudden bursts of strength, and he's been educating himself with the aid of Coda on important lessons in anatomy and engineering to maximize his healing and repair powers. I have this image of him re-entering the story in the middle of a mission in the Arctic to continue retrieving new Loa, which he's not exactly happy about, and beginning to wondering after losing himself in self-improvement for so long what a potential god is doing "dicking around in a place like this" (as Kell would probably put it). And all this ice is reminding him of the Drowned Lady, and the terrible vision he had of the world destroyed...

What is his destiny? Shall he recreate the world in his own image, purging it of any and all flaws he perceives, with an immortal queen by his side? Shall he challenge the Loas themselves for godhood? Or he is in the end just a young man, with a young man's wants and needs, who will finally learn to stop being ashamed of being human, and celebrate life for what it is...

Find out next episode!!

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked. :D
