Well, based on your timeline, Tynan would still be an extremely talented and troubled Apprentice . . . one with a tendency toward the dark side. But here's the kicker . . . he was Skywalker's apprentice for that very reason. I put that in play early on, but at the time I never thought I'd have to write it.

D'Rack was Luke's Padawan, but if we do this, I plan to have as a Knight, so it is completly fine to have Tynan as Luke's Padawan.

But doesn't the idea of RPings Tynan's struggle with Light or Dark?

Well, technically Tynan never completed his training all the way when he left to do the bounty hunter thing. He thought he could master both light and dark, and use both.

I don't remember though, if he leaves when Luke dies, or before . . .

As he was pondering about ... He started liking the idea more & more ... So it looks like I'll have a new character ...

Name: Tynan
Former Jedi apprentice, left the order after the death of Master Skywalker.

Carries two blue-bladed lightsabers, that can be connected at the base.

Is disenchanted with the Jedi. believes they hamper themselves by not embracing the 'complete force' (refuses to acknowledge the truth of the matter).

Has black hair, and green eyes. 6 feet tall, lean and muscled. Works as bounty hunter. Known for the fact that he'll hunt ANYONE. Including Sith or Jedi.

Just a few points, my char is NOT Jedi, or Sith obviously, so his carrying two blades is his own choice.

One apology coming... I misread the idea behind the thread. I read that Skywalker had died one year earlier, but not that it was so close to the end of Return of the Jedi. Was it AFTER he founded the Jedi Acadamy on Yavin 4 (about 7 years after RotJ, and 2 years after becoming a Jedi master)? If not, than I need to change a few facts in my post. Sorry!

Lemme see if I'm understanding...

If we start this new thread, the one we're discussing right now, we're going back how far? If I remember correctly, we plotted the first thread (Return of the Sith) roughly 50 years after ROTJ. Then the second was 8 or 10 years later. I believe 8 but I'm not sure. If this thread is intended to be 25 or so years earlier, first off, earlier than which thread? And secondly, we'll have to remember lineage, meaning we had X number of characters in the threads already done, which means, in terms of Jedi, we need to know who trained who, and where and when to limit how many Jedi/Sith we'll allow to be played.

So the current Jedi Master would still exist as either newly promoted Jedi Knights or Padawans ... Any Sith Lord maybe either be still a Sith Lord or apprentice ...

I remember reading in the character guide that at one point Luke did have 2 apprentices ... Since there were so few Jedi Masters ...

I think that is about the gist of it ... Feel free to correct me on any points I wrote incorrectly ...

Even when Luke did have the new Academy, there were only so few Masters ... So it would have possible that both D'Rack & Tynan were both his appentices at one point ... *shrugs*

in the books, he had something like 9 apprentices at first, with just him...Mara helped some and eventually they got married... << >> of course, this took place long after that

I'm thinking of about 25 years before the first thread (Episode VII), So yeah, it is the new Republc era.

I haven't read anything to back you up Arc, but I do like the idea of both Tynan and D'Rack being Luke's Padawans. It'll make more sense of why D'Rack and Tynan both think the Jedi to be more aggrasive with the force.

And we don't need to play all our charchtes, it is up to you.

Description: tall, lean, black hair, green eyes. usually wears shades because his eyes are very sensitive to light.

History: Adray was chosen to pilot an experimental spacecraft, which ended up floating adrift in a galaxy populated by humans with powers similar to the ones he has, though of different origin. As a Republic Dreadnaught pulled up alongside his ship, the automatic systems began to thaw him from Cyrogenic Stasis.

Training: Adray has spent much of his life training in various martial arts, marksmanship, and melee weapons. He also has the ability to control his own life force to generate a variety of energy attacks and affect various things.



Name: Erika Neia
Race: Neo Human (Numan)
Class: Explorer
Clothes/Armor: black shorts and black vest-like top with a PsyFrame (psionically enhanced full body exoframe sort of armor)
Description: 5'3", lean, but very definitely woman. her hair is a reddish pink, and her skin is darkly tanned. eyes are a gold color

History: Erika, though she doesn't look it, was only 1.5 years old when they entered stasis. As a genetically engineered human designed for combat, she spent her speedy youth studying martial arts and developing her ability to generate a variety of powerful battle techniques. She is fiercely protective of her captain, and also looks up to him.

Training: full training in melee weapons, as well as a powerful array of psionic battle techniques.



Name: SiRen 459
Race: Combat and Systems Specialist Android
Class: Explorer
Clothes/Armor: Armored body, as well as a custom designed exoframe.
Description: Black hair, black eyes, 7'0", extremely well muscled. built in weapon systems, including semi automatic longrange blasters on his shoulders, EMP generators, and a powerful antispacefortress weapon system that he tries to avoid using.

History: SiRen is one of the 400 Wren android series. He was designed specifically for this mission, and outfitted with the most advanced weapon systems ever designed for an android on his world, as well as a large variety of firearms and heavy weapons. He is an expert marksman, and spent 5 years preparing for the mission.

Training: heavy weapons training, marksmanship, systems hacking and navigation programming.




Name: Traco
Race: Genetically Enhanced Tiger
Class: Explorer
Clothes/Armor: specially designed armored frame
Description: a large white tiger, with slightly larger canine teeth. Blue eyes, 1200 pounds

History: Traco was created by Adray's mother, who was a geneticist. He has been with Adray since he was 6 years old, and stays by his side no matter what. Adray wouldn't have been able to leave Traco behind, so he took him with.

Training: Speech and Communications. Traco has a fully formed voicebox, and can speak in any language he takes the time to listen to.
