OOC: The Grand Tournament

Hmm, well if he drops at this point it isn't to much harm. No one is waiting on him, and no real conection is lsot since we are still at the begining.

My question about fights out side the tournament still stands. So when you can, get back to me about things outside the tournament please.

Okay now to finish my above second character, and then a reply to the actual thread.

Xillia Nio is modle Ar 6. Basicly useing the rapid apearence of new technology and sorcery they developed a way to make really good combat infantry. The body of the Modle 6 forms an exoskeleton for fair increase in defense, it also increases the size of the user and greatly enhances strength. In the case of Xillia a glaive, type of spear, is formed with the armor. This form while quite expensive was still liked by the military as it combined the powers of infantry and armor.

I know I am cobineing a strong race with a strong character, but hey I figure it could be fun. Any adjustments you think I should make let me know.

Manipulator is exactly like that Cats, his multiple personalities are the souls of every opponent he's "eaten". That's why he had to list it in his registration. If you don't proclaim an special trait when you register, then use it in a battle, you can get kicked out completely, and unless you're good at making new names while hiding your abilities, the registry will find you and block your access.

An example of banned items is Scopes.
Scopes let you identify every single weak or strong point on an opponent, and let you take care of them for a set amount of time before the power on the Scope disappears and it disentigrates.

Assuming the Judges catch you, this is what can happen:
5 second use: 1,000 gold pieces fine.
10 second use: 15,000 gold pieces fine
15 seconds or more: 30,000 gold piece fine and banning from the entire Tournament for 2 years.

As for fights outside of the legalized matches in the arenas, they are allowed, but they are hunted down by the authorities with extreme zeal and many have already been shut down. This has forced alot of them to go underground and hide out to try and keep their "business" alive.

I am one of the all two few poeple that live on lit and a real life. I think.

So Xillia or Xia for short will be fighting with some strange weapons, or such is my goal. For example I'm going to arm her with a chineese yo yo. Well one reenforced with steel, but you get the idea. The logic here is paper cuts hurt like hell and if you can jsut hit some one like that each try, you have the perfect nonlethal weapon. (For the record this is a piece of paper wraped around a stick a few hundred times.) Then a cloack or cape would be good as well.

Actully if you check the first page lighting is a difrent element from wind. So you would half to come up with a good excuse to control the lighting. Then again I'm probably over steping my bounds, I do that often.

Personally I thought you were going to end up fighting an NPC. Because didn't a big guy grab your shoudler earlier or was I going crazzy. Oh well DT is still an enterenceing match.

Dark has a little robot dood followin him around into battle. This is considered a pet. Technogeists are mainly pet classes (puppetmasters) by their ability to build little mechanical machines/minions to do their bidding

That or they can pick up the warrior class as a second job and make light sabres. (Maybe, it depends on who has the patten.)

I can understand how summoning lightning from nothing would be a seperate class of character, but to control lightning from a storm that has been summond should be in the bounds of wind and water. Since naturally there are positive and negetive ions in the air and the water and wind acta as a conductor to these ions, someone that controls both wind and water should be allowed to send controlled bolts of lightning down. If however, you deem I cannot do this then please let me know so I don't piss anyone off.
