(OOC) The Marvel Adventures: Ghosts of the Past

I'm trying to think if there's a way to fuse the serum idea and the Ultimate Marvel Universe. I don't want to lose you guys if I scrap the serum idea, but if I don't make some changes, I don't see us getting enough females for each guy to have a love interest. That's why the new thread isn't up yet, because I'm racking my brain trying to decide what to do.

How about, you still use the serum history, but also keep mutants as they are, though the mutants could also go through changes due to the serum as well (i.e. Secondary mutations and all that)

I'm going to do that, but change it a bit. I'm working on a three page timeline of the Marvel Jeffverse, and then I'll post that with a short but detailed introduction to the game's story. The timeline dates back as far as 3000 BC, lol.

Almost done with the timeline. I'll be posting a new OOC thread for the new game. The first post will have the timeline and intro, then I'll work on my character bios and post them. Once all the bios are posted, I'll start the RP Thread (hopefully we'll get girls).

Also, another idea I had is that somewhere along the line, Cable and Bishop come back in time from the future to warn them about the Sentinels, and then the characters can somehow get lost in time. We could get a HUGE story arc out of that. After they fuck up the timeline a few times, we can have Doctor Strange sense distortions in the Space-Time Continuum, and he can use his powers to correct history, sending the characters to the moment before they jumped back in time, but also sending Cable and Bishop back to the future.

Another idea I had is that after several attempts to kill Apocalypse (which doesn't work because he keeps regenerating), they somehow turn him into a big crystal, and break him in half. Apocalypse's voice comes from and crystals and says "That will not stop me -- once I pull myself together, I will destroy you all!" to which they reply, "Good luck pulling yourself together." They lock each half inside an iron chest, then take them to the north and south poles. See, as long as his body senses pieces of itself exist, it won't generate new limbs and parts, but will seek to reunite with it's former pieces. Of course, if his limb is destroyed and thus the body can't sense it, it will grow a new one. The heroes will realize this, and thus by keeping the two parts separate, Apocalypse's powers are downsized -- he can't change back from the crystal until his two halves reunite. This works for a while, but eventually, the two halves lose their connection and become two separate beings. Suddenly, the world is attacked by a psychotic version of Apocalypse, who lacks the honor, intelligence, and reason of his former self -- he appears to be in a constant berserker state, laughing like a maniac as he destroys everything in sight only for the fun of it. This half doesn't speak much accept for the occasional "Bleed! I want you all to bleeeeed!!!" or "Power! Destruction! CHAOS!!!" or "Anyone who meets my eyes must die!!!"

The heroes deduce that if all his evil ambitions went to one half, all his good ones must have gone to the other. They go to the north pole and discover this half has indeed become independant and self-aware, but due to guilt for the crimes of his past, he chose to remain in exile. They finally convince him to stop his evil half, which he evenually does, killing him forever. For fear of returning to his evil ways or someone making a clone of him in the future, he prepares to destroy himself as he did his evil half, but in the end, they convince him not to do that by giving him the Mutant Cure, but due to his sheer power, it does not completely cure him, but takes him down to a level closer to others on the team, and gives him the appreance of a normal human.

I was thinking that due to his thousands of years worth of knowledge, he could become a professor at the school, and after Xavier's eventual death, he'll run the school. In light of his new outlook on life, this half of Apocalypse will take the name Wyatt Lightwalker, referring to the fact that he walks in the light and not the dark. Eventually, he becomes an active member of the Ultimates, taking the superhero name "Whitelighter," because after taking the cure, his most powerful ability is to create and manipulate light and produce bright energy balls, blasts, and force fields.

That is brilliant, seriously, i envy your imagination sometimes Jeff, you'll make a brilliant comic writer one day, In fact i may back out now before i get upstaged lol, just do me a favour and don't write movie scripts or act, i have enough competion in those areas as it is.

LMAO. Thanks, but there are plenty of writers out there that are way better than me. I consider myself a good writer, but I am far from brilliant, lol. I think the reason my imagination is so big is because of my real life. Most of my life I have been so disappointed with the way things turn out, I create stories and characters to live out the things I can't in real life.
