OOC: Vampire: The Hunted.

She was the daughter of a druid High Priestess destined to be the greatest seer of her age. When she was 16, on the night of her initiation from Novice to Druid Priestess, at the end of the right her tribes was attacked by a band of Christian zealots. She was left for dead. She was found by two vampires, both of whom were sired by Damien Kane, as they arrived to take part in the rites. They did the only thing they could to save the tribe. They turned her. Her Dark Father, Cardan, had fallen in love with Shylah's mother, and swore vengeance on the killers. He found them and attacked with a fury, but lost his own life in the process. Cardan's brother, Caedmon, took the newly turned Shylah and fled for safety. To his own sire, Damien. Caedmon, grieving for his brother's death (they were twins when they were mortal, and were turned together), left Shylah in the care of Damien. For 600 years she stayed by his side, until finally, Caedmon came for her. She has been with him ever since, travelling the world as he once did with his brother.

Oh, one more thing. Lets try and keep all OOC discussions in this thread, so we won't stall the other thread. :)

Pro_e1337, you didn't upset anything. Just keep in mind, Damien is coming there, now, and he's expecting the hunters to be there (I'm just saying this because neither he nor Shylah can be killed in this scene, so in order to escape some hunters will die). It'll actually be fun to see what our three characters are capable of.

I'm not sure about the Werewolves. I don't want it to be too "Underworld." :)

What does everyone think?
 
Ok cool I was planning on him comming and i do anticipate the othre hunters that are with me dieing. And i know not to super play and kill you in the first few posts (or at all).
And I am fine with weres, as long as they aren't invulnerable.
 
Wow... I've been a long-time player of White Wolf's Vampire RPG's (both paper based and live-action). I've actually GM more games than I have played though... curse of being the only good storyteller in a small group of friends I suppose. So naturally this RP stuck out when i checked this forum section...

If there's still room (by what I've read of the story thread there seems to be), I'd be glad to join in. Before I get to the bio posting though I should mention beforehand that I am mostly limited to posting at night and on weekends. Also since I do still GM games on the weekends, there may be weekend nights that I will not be able to post since I stay at a friends house for about 36 hours. Let me know if this will be problematic.

As for a character to play, I'm torn between two concepts... Guess I'll just start writing the bio and see what comes along.

Name: William "Billy" Gunn

Age: 22

Profession: PT Mechanic/PT Student (Senior- BS Computer Tech)

Desc: 6'1", 220-ish, compact muscled frame, Blonde-Brown hair worn at shoulder length (usually pulled back or under a black bandana), Dark auburn eyes (nearly a deep red), trimmed moustache/goatee, usually dressed in black jeans, black sleeveless t-shirt with pocket (for his cigs/zippo).

Background: Billy was raised in your typical Illinios country town. Played football and baseball in HS, hung out with the more rowdy crowd but was a closet 'nerd' and one of the more quiet and reserved people of his circle of friends. Attention was never really a high priority for him. He kept the same girlfriend from his HS sophomore year until he left to attend college. After a few poor decisions in his college career he lost his scholarship and is working part-time at a gas/service station to help pay tuiton and keep his small apartment. The recent outbreak of the 'Vampire-hysteria' hasn't really affected him as much as most people. In fact he actually volunteered to work the night-shift cashiering at the station after a co-worker quit recently. Though he's not an idiot by any means... he has taken to wear a .45 semi-auto in a shoulder holster, just to be safe. Also he has been researching as much of the vampire mythos as he can find online, though most of it he takes with a grain of salt.


*I am currently leaving him unaffliated with ANY faction. I believe that will leave me more flexible to work with any other PC's as needed.

I think that will do it. I hope the char meets standards. I'll be waiting for the go-ahead to post if so.

Looks about 18 but is much older. No one really knows how old she is even by looking in her eyes. She is around 200
She uses her looks as a lure for her prey as she walks the streets as a prostitue taking her prey from the scum that picks her up

Her Vampire life started due to a lover who turned her on her 18th birthday

First, an apology to everyone. We've had some personal issues rise up, and my fiance (Lady Gypsy) will be unable to post for some time. Until then, she's asked me to take over the character of Shylah.

I hope everyone is still aboard.
