Orlando Pulse Massacre 2016

Even you should know that women weren't allowed to join the militia and there weren't militia everywhere. Some people, even women, lived quite far from any help.
But good you mention the "frontier-situation" threat. At least you know that the founding fathers codified a person's right to self-defense, rather than just hoping someone comes to their aid.

And even you should know it's now the twenty-first century, not the eighteenth, and that a semi-automatic weapon isn't a musket.

point is you are an idiot.

you can ban semi-automatic weapons but the obama terrorist network will still find ways to commit mass murder. Also, since you are retarded :) terrorist and criminals will always have guns FUCKING PERIOD. stop being so fucking stupid.

Not in this case - he was a US citizen went into a store and bought it. It may have been said previously, but the first store rang the FBI because the guy asked for military grade body armour...

I think it's a shame that folks here end up insulting each other. Surely we all have the same aim in mind and that is to stop mass killings, that are greatly exacerbated by semi-automatic weapons? I can't see any reasonable person objecting to that. What way of life in the USA requires a rifle?

Hunting and farming lifestyles require a rifle. Perhaps a shotgun will do.

A semi-automatic large capacity magazine military look-a-like or concealable handgun are not required in any civilized lifestyle. AR-15s are popular amongst wannabes and nut jobs.

Several episodes of Duck Dynasty were complete travesties in their depiction of US gun culture.

Hunting beaver with ARs. Waking up to assassinate a radio with an AR. Unloading on a snake with a full clip from a semi-auto handgun.

Amazed none of those stupid bastards hasn't shot themselves or a family member with that sort of activity. Played up for TV but very irresponsible. I stopped watching them at that point.

I don't see any reasonable person objecting to that either, but I can't agree with you that all of the posters here on this topic have stopping the mass killings in mind at all. If they did, they'd agree with the need to cut down on the access to weapons capable of doing that--but they don't. When forced to look directly at it, they come up with shell games. (That would be bullet shell games.)

I would also be amazed, if you or I could possibly be aware that were true. As you say, they are likely "played up for TV", but they are also likely edited for that very reason. (No joke: One of the still-airing wrestling shows used to fill YouTube the second it stopped airing live, & mis-takes were uploaded of an official's suicide notes, attempts, etc.)

what is wrong with you? this failed thinking of yours... sad!

the failure isn't the gun, it was with team obama.

I don't see any reason why we need to put limits on what we should or should not purchase. that type of logic is from a 'liberal' and we all know that liberals are mentally defective as it is ... so maybe we need to put ban on gun ownership for those that are liberals and islamic nut jobs like the obama ... and obama friends.

if only you were a reasonable person but clearly you are one of the mentally defective

wanna know why Cuba is still a socialist country?

cuz they banned and took away semi-automatic weapons (as well as all guns)! Government must NEVER have that power. I realize people like you can never understand what I'm talking about.

You're right there. You haven't mentioned anything about saving lives or reducing fatalities WHEN these atrocities occur. I presume Dems and Reps both share that same aim?
Not sure how you got onto Cuba
So, you're saying if the govt took away your right to buy semi-automatic weapons, that America would turn into a Socialist state. I didn't realise that's how Cuba became socialist. Well I never.

That's why Cuba is surrounded by water, but you don't hear about people jumping off the shores to commit suicide every day! Government needs such powers (perhaps not take-away, but background checks prior to purchase) so they can limit idiots like you to only being able to waste our time instead of laying our bodies & those of MANY others to waste.

Exactly, and 2A doesn't say a fuckin' thing about muskets now does it??:D

The kind that isn't soccer mom suburban hell....

Not everyone lives in a nice middle class gated community.....not everyone has a cop within 30 seconds of their home at all times....not everyone gets dinner in plastic wrap or a paper bag.

Not everyone, but the majority don't have to shoot an elk for lunch or keep your cattle safe from wolves. How unsafe do Americans feel in their own country? I mean it's your country, but does having a rifle behind the front door actually make you safer or make you feel safer? I can totally get the idea of wanting to feel safe and you go ahead and buy the guns.

Anyways, end of the day, you'll be relieved to know I'm not coming to America any time soon. It's not the terrorists, it's the fear that I might bump into someone from the GB with a rifle

clearly, you enjoy the perks of free speech. Others paid the price so that you and your liberal/socialist retarded friends can enjoy it. Sad, that you are not intelligent enough to see the big picture. That's the problem with your kind.

I certainly would feel safer without the pinheaded gun nuts we have running around and carrying. In being a danger to themselves and others, I don't see much distance at all between the gun nuts posting to this forum and the nuts actually mowing people down in schools, churches, movie theaters, and clubs.

That doesn't give the majority the right to fuck the minority out of their civil rights.

How unsafe do Americans feel in their own country?

That's a personal thing and largely irrelevant.

No, behind the front door is not only worthless but negligent.

However a weapon within reach does.

That's why all the politicians who want guns banned stand behind men/women with guns. :D

Outstanding!!

Clearly your kind should be deported. That would be a start to make America safer. Then we can start working on deporting the obama terrorist network

Americans feel very unsafe in their own country and homes. They distrust their government. Are suspicious of minorities (which is not necessarily just a Yank thing). Individual rights trump the greater good. Believe in the importance of the gun in their nation building mythology. Believe that only an armed population keeps them from being taken over by outside forces. Or that only the fear of said population keeps their government from becoming a totalitarian state.

Fear is the overriding emotion in US culture. Fear of the government, big business, foreigners and even their neighbours.

They absolutely refuse to see the example of cousin countries example of being peaceful and just societies without massive gun ownership.

Have an overriding belief in American exceptionalism. There country is a special case and no other can be held in comparison.

Their government is held in the grip of special interest far far more than cousin countries.

thank you for posting the dribble derp, but I will admit that you were able to put in some half truths in all that crap.

clearly, you are pro obama/hillary :(

I don't distrust or fear my government. I distrust and fear the pinheaded civilian gun toters.

This from some who claims to have worked for an organization that brokers illegal arms deals, traffics in narcotics, topples governments, and runs assassination programs.

Couldn't imagine why people would fear their government. Democide is just an irrational fear.

Fortunately nobody would consider your opinion that of a rational person. Millions of gun owners get up every day and don't murder let alone threaten anyone. Sorry crime is on the decline.

It's like saying the Orlando shooter is a typical member of the gay community.

So none of the amendments apply to technology invented after they were written? You know this makes you sound stupid right?

You might want to just stick to gay smut. I'm sure your good at it, but you really don't know what your talking about after you get past your very petty insults.

Yes nice to hear from a foreigner who can take the moral high ground, and would rather abandon a thread then act like a mature adult.
