Most of us are just lucky.
I'd fear Detroit or Chicago more. I've been to all three places and realize there are even other dangerous cities with crime everyday.
Again, not sure I could disagree more. Many times lately, I've seen "Dateline" & other such shows include comments saying people "didn't expect" to person to be violent, etc....
It's called IRONY, people!!! Det, Chi, even near me in Cleve... To me, I think of those places like farm-land; They expect violence, so more cops & things... Less people take weapons to Cavs games, concerts, even bars... I'm scared as anything to go to ___ (fill-in small-town nothingness building/event here)... People on TV shows say, "Expect the unexpected," which by definition gets cyclical & cannot be done. However, what you can do is legalize guns in most/all buildings. That way (for instance), they needn't have a sign on the door saying if you can have a gun in it or not, but if someone decides to get violent for any reason, the person they aim at has at-least equal chance of being armed.
