“Lets just go back to sleep” Alex murmured having sex for the first time took a lot out of him even more than he realized. He felt his eyes beginning to drop but he moved brushing her tears away with his lips and pulling her closer. “I got you” Alex mumbled to her sleepily trying to help her relax. His hands rubbing and caressing her back he felt his eyes closing and sleeping claiming him again and worked to get one final sentence out before sleep claimed him.

Cat cried softly and how sweet and tender he was being to her even as he slipped asleep. She watched him for a while realizing how much better hes could do than her. She slipped gently out of his arms when he was in a deep enough sleep and gathered her things she got her heels and put them in her bag and grabbed her clothes frommthe dryer slipping them on. She kissed his cheek softly and gave a small smile " Im so sorry Alex but youll thank me for saving you the trouble" she said before climbing out of his window. It was raining lightly and she made it carefully to her car. She sat a bit looking at his house before sighing and driving off.

A few days later

Alex rubbed his red eyes keeping his head down and moving through the crowds of his fellow classmates. He knew every one would give him grief if they knew he had been crying so he kept his hood up using it to keep his face hidden in the shadows. He was glad he was good at being invisible to most of the people he was forced to be around. It had been two days since he had sex with Cat two days since she slipped out of his bed while he was sleeping. He should have seen it coming but it hurt him all the same. He tried to talk to her in school but she ignored him even flat out going out of her way to stay away from him.

The bell rang signaling the end of school. Alex thanked whatever gods existed that he was done and started moving to the exit trying not to look for her. His eyes however darted around trying to find just one hint of her around.

Cat saw how much it hurt Alex that she was ignoring him but hed find someone better.. someone who deserved him. She saw him scan the hallway for her and quickly dodged into the parking lot seeing most cars had pulled out already. She moved quickly to the lot hoping he hadnt seen her. She hated doing this to him but itd be better for both of them. She took a few pills and liquor before starting the car and pulled out of the driveway seeing just as Alex approached his car. " Shit!" She said under her breath sipping her cup full of vodka

Alex saw her moving to her car and he frowned noticing the cup and her less than graceful walking. There was no way she wasn’t on some thing and the fact that she was getting behind the wheel sent a bolt of anger running through him. He felt his anger burning and he quickly followed her going to his own car and ripping the door open. He clambered in and started the car feeling it rumble to life around him and pulling out as she did. He began following her sticking close to make sure he could swoop in and save her if she ran off the road or some thing.

Cat drove home her car swerving a few times but she stayed in the right lane. What she hadn't noticed was the car behind her following holding a very pissed off Alex. She got home in about 10 min partially because she was speeding a bit.

She pulled in her driveway knocking over a garbage can and grabbed her bagx from the back seat. Shed pick it up kater because she knew she'd get dizzy if she bent down.

She saw a familiar car parking and shook her head thinking maybe it was a neighbor.

“What’s going on!” Alex shouted to her stopping inside of her drive way and getting out of the car. He walked over to her narrowing his eyes and making his way to her. “are you driving while high now?” Alex hissed grabbing her by her arm and stopping her form moving forward. “cat look at me” HE said grabbing her and turning her to face him.

" No.." Cat said stubbornly and looked away. She groaned because the motion made her dizzy and she could barely stand. " What are you a fucking stalker now? I was perfectly fine I didn't hit anyone and I stayed in my lanes! " she said and tried wiggling out of his grip. " Just leave me alone Alex" she said wobbling a bit " And getting high is MY fucking business ok?"

“Obviously I had to stalk you” Alex hissed not letting go off her. Instead he moved her to her porch ignoring the house as he put his full attention on her. He couldn’t let her do this to her self couldn’t let her screw up her life. She was going to destroy herself and Alex would not could not let that happen.

“I will not leave you alone!” Alex growled glaring at her “You can pretend to be the bitch as much as you want and get high and blow every one else off but not me I know who you are and I wont let you do this to your self you could have died or been arrested for driving under the influence”

Cat shouted angrily as tears rolled down her face " I DON'T CARE OK! " she looked at him " I am a bitch and I deserve it Alex I deserve to Die! I hate myself just like everyone else hates me! I'm a slut and a fucking tease. You shouldn't fucking care ok? Im not worth it! Im so not worth it Alex!" She said sobbing and trying to push him away.

" Just stop it" she said softly exhausted " Stop caring about me. Itd be so much better for everyone once im gone alex dont try to save me.."

“No way in hell” Alex hissed shaking his head and wrapping his arms around you “I’m not letting you go I’m not going away and I am sure as hell not going to let you die because your not a bitch your not a slut and your not a tease and you are not worthless not even in the slightest” Alex said keeping a tight hold on her not letting her leave his arms.

“Where are your keys?” Alex asked gently “lets get you inside” he said kissing the top of her hair gently. Trying to calm her down with his words and his gentleness.

Cat handed him the keys still crying. Alex had to be the most caring person she had ever met and his stubbornness made her want to strangle him at times. She shook her head not believing his words. She followed him inside sniffling. He had made her blurt out her feelings. Feelings so deep that she was embarrassed about and yet he was still here with her.

He closed the door and locked it guiding her over to the couch and sitting her down. He leaned in and gave her forehead a gentle kiss before he turned ducking into the kitchen and disappearing. He found a glass and filled it with water before coming back and handing it to her. He took her hand and sat down looking into her eyes and gesturing for her to drink.

“It’s going to be okay” he said gently trying to show her that “I got you” he said softly.

Cat winced hearing the words he whispered to her the night she left. "Why?" She said with a barley audible voice?" And looked down at her hands. " I dont deserve you Alex.. you could find someone better who isnt as fucked up as me."

“I don’t care” Alex said firmly grabbing her hands and holding them “your not fucked up and I don’t want any one else but you” He said leaning in to kiss her.

Cat looked at him and kissed him back deeply pulling him toward her. She couldnt stop thinking about Alex these past few days. His kiss his touch him holding her. For the first time she felt like someone cared about her. Tears rolled down her cheeks "You want me?" She asked shocked

“I do” Alex said pulling her to his lap “I want you” He said leaning in and kissing her deeply. His hands wrapping around her like they had done two nights ago and keeping her close to him.

Cat moaned against his lips and felt more passion for him right now then she had tje first night. She kissed him deeply and sighed feeling him grow slowly beneath her. " I want you too Alex" she said looking in his eyes before kissing him again.

“It’s going to be okay baby” Alex murmured kissing her gently “I promise its going to be okay” he said kissing her deeply and pulling her closer to him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kept her safe kissing her deeply and lovingly.

Cat continued kissing him and nodded holding onto him as he held her protectively. She felt the tears coming again because Alex was being so sweet. She felt herself falling for him but was afraid to tell him. She realized as it dawned on her. She was in love with Alex. She kissed him even deeper and said "It will be if your here" she whispered

“I am not going any where” Alex promised rubbing her back slowly “I promise you” he said gently stroking her back and raining kisses down on her lips. He held her protectively and tightly trying to show her how much of a hold he had on her.

Cat smiled and nodded kissing her. She took a sip of the water her had brought her calming down a bit. She put her forehead against his and looked in his eyes and kissed him softly " Thank you" she said against his lips. She held onto him and wrapped her arms around his strong body.

“Like I said I’m here baby” Alex said giving her a squeeze. He helped her finish the water and checked her out making sure he hadn’t gotten scratched up or bruised during her chaotic riding.

Cat blushed as he looked over her body for damage "Im fine..." she whispered " I won't do it again Alex I promise" she said feeling guilty about how much she hurt him and made him worry. "Im sorry" she said and kissed him softly " I dont know how to show you how much I am"

“Are you still high?” Alex asked raising an eyebrow and starring into her eyes. He smiled at her words but the smile was fringed with worry. He wasn’t sure how to take care of her or what he needed to do. Alex was a suburb kid who didn’t really have any experience dealing with people who were on drugs. He wanted to make sure she was okay and take care of her but he had no idea if she needed to detox or some thing else.
