Outlaws

With her head down, Aaria didn't really see who came into the store. But she did hear a rough voice demanding money and supplies. Looking up, Aaria backed up into a corner, her hands covering her mouth. A scream was caught in her throat and she stiffened in fear. She couldn't take her eyes off the man. Don't kill me, she said to herself over and over again. She noticed the other woman had stoped talking and was watching him too. It wasn't until the man looked at her that Aaria began to feel queezy.

I stood to the side, watching everyone. The girl looked like a frightened doe. I geared myself up in anticipation of her trying to run off. I didn't want to see her get killed. She was too young and innocent.

The store owner was a different story. Then look in her eyes was of pure hatred, and I saw her hand inching behind the counter. If she grabbed a gun, I knew there would be gunfire and who knows what would happen.

My eyes swung back to the outlaw and watching his gun.......

Corwyn

I nodded to Daph as she stepped back in with the rope and began to fill my arms with cigarettes and alcohol. My gun hanging from the shoulder strap, not that I should really have to worry at this point. Tossing Daph some smoke before we made our way out, 'Now that was luck.' I thought to myself.

As we made our way to the bank I was busy studying both the building and glancing at Daph. Yeah, fine I'm on the job but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy my work. Closing on the building I motion Daph to one side of the double doors while I head towards the other side. Laying flat against the wall I look over to see if she's ready. I nod my head and hold up a closed fist, raising one finger at a time, hoping she knows to go in on three...

"Let's get outta here then!" I walked back to my car and started up, following Rock and the lady as they sped out of town in search of Mad Dog. This was probably one of the most dangerous hunts I am ever going to undertake, Mad Dog was no ordinary criminal and I have never tangled with someone as smart as him; in the past couple of years at lesat four hunters have been killed by him, and I've been after him for six months now without sucess. I just hope we can take him down if we find him.

I kept my eye on Corwyn and as his third finger was raised I rolled from the wall and into the bank right by his side. It was amazing how well we worked together. As we burst through the door, there was a moment of silence and then a scream which was quickly cut off as I pointed my weapon in the woman's direction.

"Everyone on the ground," I shouted through my bandana,"If you cooperate than no one has to get hurt. If you move or go for any alarms than this will turn nasty! Now, everyone come from around that counter and the desks. No one is tripping alarms today. Lay down on the floor and I will tie you up while my partner keeps you covered."

They did as we asked, some shooting us angry glares, others shaking and frightened. I got to work with the ropes, we didnt have alot of time. No telling when someone from the store would get loose and raise the alarm. They were all tied up in record time and I handed Cor my weapon.

"I'll start emptying out the vault and drawers while you keep everyone covered." I had noticed that the vault was opened as we came in which ment that we didnt have to have anyone open it for us. It also ment that someone was probably hiding in it....probably had been doing something in there before we came and was now hiding or trying to find a way to alert the law.

I took one of my knived from the sleeve of my jacket and cautiously approached the vault door, listening for any sounds of movement.

I narrowed my eyes at the man. I did not take to the idea of being shoved between the two of them. I moved to try to get more comfy. I took off my boots and put my feet up. G

"West, a little town, t hey have supplies, it will take only about twenty minutes...go faster...." I laughed.

"you two up for this? I won't take any cowards."

I shifted uncomfortably. I was literally walled in by the broad chests of the men. My small frame seemed tiny, but I knew this wouldnt be the worst. A light sheen of perspiration shimmered on my skin.

I closed my eyes.

Val Holloway

No, Not again. And sure as hell not in my store. Fuck that.

My gaze hardened as I stared at the man entering, not necessarily sure than I recognized him from the incident that took my family but sure that he was indeed an outlaw. Reason enough for my focused hatred.

The gun he was waving around gave me pause, although only briefly. I wasn’t afraid to die. In fact, at times – I’ve almost wished for it. Without Charlie and my babies, what reason did I have to go on?

Vengeance.

My eyes narrowed at the thought and my blood boiled within my veins. The bill was made and this fucker was going to pay. My thoughts were racing trying to concoct some sort of plan. I might end up dead, but I sure as hell was not going to make this easy for him. Dammit! Why did I have to have customers now?! I pushed the thought to the back of my mind. They’ll just have to stay down.

My gaze shifted to the side and the corner of my mouth lifted in a cruel smile as a plan began to form. My eyes locked back on him, watching his every movement and timing it precisely so as to have his weapon and attention focused away from me. Taking full advantage of that split second, I dove to the side into the aisle - a solid rack of camping gear between him and me. Simultaneously I grabbed my pistol that I always carried from its hiding place, tucked snuggly along the back waistband of my jeans. My eyes locked on my target and I lobbed off three shots into the electrical circuit breakers. A flurry of sparks and hisses erupted, and to my huge satisfaction, my goal was met – The lights died and the store was enveloped in darkness.

Hide and seek, motherfucker. You want me, come and get me. I thought to myself as I made my way quickly away from the area I was in now, rolling under racks of clothing and stealthily moving down the aisles to the darkest corners of the store.

I removed my other pistol from its holster at my shoulder and found myself a concealed place to wait him out. The removal of the lights drenched the back areas of the stores in darkness, but dimmed lighting that entered from the windows in the front illuminated that area slightly. My hope was that he stayed there, standing in front of the doors to where I could get off a couple of good shots. It would be all that I needed.

It wasn't long before I could see a small town in the distance. Rock was driving pretty fast and a sizeable dust cloud followed him, so I moved out to get a better look.

When my eyes adjusted I could see a motorbike and jeep parked near the centre of town. I recognize that bike instantly as Mad Dog's. Accelerating catch up to Rock I opened the window and shouted, "Stop! Mad Dog's in there!"
Rock just grunted and pulled over at the roadside.

Getting out of the car I said, "We need a plan."

Turning around, my body literally pinned between them, I had my body half into the back, My legs wiggling around as I grabbed my gun. I grabbed my ammo and the other two shiny silver handguns that layed criss-crossed at my lower back.

Loading my gun with a click, I raised my eyebrows and licked my lips, "I know what to do."

"are you going to get out or do I have to crawl over you?" I said to Chan.

Leaning forward I placed the two silver guns at the small of my back. My face inches from Chan's. "Please move."

He smiled cockily. We all got out of the truck. "I am going straight in, my Brother is in there."

They both looked at me oddly. "take the rear. There are no lights on, Be careful."

Aaria

When the lights went out, Aaria could only think of one thing.

"Oh God" she cried out, as she sank to the floor. She felt as though her whole world was crashing in. She didn't even tune in to the shouts and the chaos that was happening around her.

Cheyenne

Shots fired..... on instinct I dropped to the floor.

Thats when the lights went out. I crawled down the length of an aisle... trying to make it toward the dimly lit area to find the door.

I lightly tapped the young girl's shoulder as I passed her on the floor and motioned for her to follow me. I had seen the look in the eyes of the owner and I knew that if she could help it, there would definately be some bloodshed..

And I was determined that it wouldn't be my blood that spilled. At least not today.

Mad Dog

As the three shots are fired, the lights go out. I quickly drop below the top of the aisles. "So she wants to play does she?" I ask myself.

While working my way to the rear of the store, I move through the shadows, and stay as low as I can.

"Lady give me the guns and ammo, and you won't be hurt. Keep this up and you loose the store, if I can't have what I want no one can." I say to her, ready to use the dynamite and run like hell. "It's your call Bitch, what is it going to be?"

Aaria

Aaria felt a tap on her shoulder and opened her eyes. She could barely make out what was going, but she knew enough that the other woman was trying to help her. Getting on her hands and knees, Aaria followed her. She didn't know where she was going and she tried not to bump into anything, or anyone.

As they neared the light, Aaria could make out the gunman, his face masked by a bandana. It was his eyes that drew her near him, and before she realized it, she had lost the other woman and she was crawling right towards him.

Cheyenne

I was almost there.....

I could see the door. It stood before me, light outlining it like the gates of heaven. A smile curved my lips. We had made it. I looked back to smile at the girl behind me. I froze. She was gone.

I looked frantically around, searching the darkness for a glimpse of where she may have gone. I scanned the room, my eyes finally adjusting to the gloomy darkness of the room. I saw her....

But she was going right towards HIM

"Damn!!" I thought to myself. I closed my eyes for an instant. I didn't know whether I should save myself…. Or go back.

I was so close to the door. I could just push through it and run, and even I had to admit that it was so tempting. But I couldn’t leave her behind.

I closed my eyes and with a deep sigh, I headed off in her direction, crouching so I wouldn’t be too easy of a target. I had no idea of what I was going to do when I reached her, but I knew that if I didn’t do something… she was going to be in serious danger.

Mad Dog

As my eyes fully adjust to the darkness of the store, I scan the aisles carefully. Very soon I see her, one of the customers, on her hands and knees. My eyes lock onto hers, almost mystical like, and draws her even closer to me.

As Aaria inched forward, her heart began to beat faster and her breathing became laboured. She wasn't sure what she was doing until she felt someone grab her ankle.

"Come on!" the other woman whispered harshly, pulling on her leg.

Aaria woke up from her day dream, and reality sank in. She was about to be face to face with the gunman. She started backing up, but she took one last look at the man. That was her mistake, because the next thing she knew he was pointing the gun at her.

Mad Dog

"Okay you two, get over here before y'all get hurt." I say to them. I smile beneath the bandanna at the concern that the other girl showed for the other one as a plan begins to take form.

I wave the shiny pistol at them again. "Get over here now, what do you think this is an old movie?" I harshly blurt out.

Aaria looked back at the other woman, not sure what to do. The woman made a face and let go of her ankle, yet she stayed where she was. Aaria heard the woman behind the counter yelling, something about not giving the guy anything and to get the hell out of her store before trouble started. Aaria thought she was going to cry. She was about to look back at the woman again to see if she was still there when the man reached over and grabed her arm, pulling her towards him. She began to kick and scream but the guy picked her up with ease and held on to her tight.

Cheyenne

I watched as the gunman picked her up. Without thinking I got up and ran towards him. I pounded my fists on his arms shoulders and back.

"Let her go damnit. You're hurting her." I screamed at him.

Mad Dog

As the other woman starts to beat on me, I turn to her still holding the girl.

"I like it rough bitch, but right now I don't have the time." I say before pushing her back, her head crashing into the metal shelving.

Sitting the girl down, I look deep into her eyes again. "Make one move, and I shoot you. do you understand?" I ask, before turning and tying the woman up.

When I complete the last knot, I put the woman over my shoulder, and grab the girl by the hand. "Time to roll, I don't think you want to stay here any longer." I say as I stop at the front door.

"Hollaway, it was nice doing buisness with you, see you in hell." I drop the girls hand and grab the stick of dynamite, making her hold it as I light the fuse.

Grabbing the stick quickly, I throw it to the back of the store. "Run over there girl and get on the ground behind that truck." I order, following quickly behind her.

"Daphne, I need you over by the old gun shop." I call into the radio, the building explodes as I get the words out. "I need you to carry something special for us." I call back to her as I look at the girl. I duck my head, and cover the woman as debris plows into everything around us.

(OOC: it was fun while it lasted Imoen! ;) )

Daphne

I was throwing the last of the bags in the jeep when I heard the explosion and then Mad Dogs voice from the radio. "Mad Dog needs me. No sense in us both taking a chance. I will meet you back at the hidout," I called to Cor.

Jumping behind the wheel, I put her into gear and roared off to where I heard the ear splitting roar and was soon in front of what used to be the supply store.

"Shit!," I said to myself,"So much for this going off without a hitch. I came to a screech in front of Mad Dog and jumped out. Looking from him to the two women I had a questioning look in my eyes.

"Whats up, boss," I said glancing around to see if anyone was coming about the explosion.

Danielle.

Grabbing my flashlight, I aimed for the middle of the store. My gun aimed, I smiled as I saw the dirty bastard Maddog.

Cocking the gun, I knew I was the only one not accounted for. "Well hello Maddog."

My aim was at his head, a clear shot. I grinned.

I heard the sound of a woman's voice and my head whipped around to see a woman in a sherrif's uniform standing with a gun aimed at Mad Dog's head. Now was the time to prove that taking me into the Outlaws was not a mistake.

With a movement that was only a blur, I whipped out the knife from my sleeve and threw it her way. I heard it sink into her gun arm with a satisfying thunk. The gun went off but it was now pointed away from the leader of the Outlaws.

"Let's get out of here!," I yelled to Mad Dog as the woman was trying to recover.

Danielle.

With a cry, I didn't see her coming, I was extremely happy ....I know, not the moment to be happy, but not happy with the situation, but happy I broke my arm in the third grade, I was forced to write with my left arm also. I had become accustomed to useing the left arm to aim, just in case something like this happened, my arm throbbing with pain, I reached behind me and witdrew one of my silver pistols.

"Not so fast bitch." I said, seeing that my two men had come to my side.

I aimed it at Maddog again.

The girl with the knives aimed again. "Try me." I snapped.

"any of you make one false move and your beloved Maddog will have holes bigger than the space in his head."

"DROP YOUR GUNS AND ALL YOUR WEAPONS." I yelled.

I stared at Maddog, right in the eyes.

"Hello ...friend."

I searched quickly for my brother.

"Drop the girl." I walked towards him, aiming the gun straight at his head until I had it at his temple.

"I have an itchy finger." I saw out of the corner of my eye, the girl try to draw a knife again.

"Watch her."

I snapped. "Maybe you and I, Maddog, need to talk privately. I don't want any hostility between my men and yours. After all, It isn't them I want."

Cheyenne

I was dropped to the ground. Now my body hurt as much as my head did. I tried to shift my weight a little, and jumped when I felt something sharp pierce the skin of my hand. I felt the object with my fingers. Glass.

Instantly a plan formed in my mind....and within minutes my wrists were free.

I turned my attention back to the scene before me. The sheriff was holding a gun pointed at the man I now knew as Mad Dog. The sheriff's arm was bleeding, and yet she still held the gun at the outlaw's head and acted as if nothing were wrong.

I made a decision to do something... and no matter how much I hated it, I couldn't just sit there and let another person die.

My adrenaline started pumping..... I moved quickly into a crouching position..... then kicked the sheriff's legs out from under her.
