"Overcoming Obamacare"

I have enough money to pay what you're commenting on and I'm not (yet) a millionaire. So yes, I will pay for my own healthcare, especially if I'm not pouring thousands of dollars every year down the drain. See how that works? I keep my money and use it to pay my own way.

Also, hospitals usually give discounts for people paying in cash because they don't have to do as much paperwork or wait to get paid by the insurance company's who drag their feet.

So there's the answer to your question. I can pay my own way and get a discount in the process. Problem solved.

Rob is one of the obama kind....never work and always have your hand out

If that were true then all you need to do is to open a health care savings account. No exchanges, no Obamacare, no whining.

Course that doesn't solve Rob's problem of not being able to pay for his cosmetic surgeries and his other "health care" needs. If he had a job and your good sense he probably could.

Unlike you, I have a job. How long have you been unemployed now? Ten years? Twelve?

And for the record, I paid cash out of pocket for my elective surgeries. It's called "personal responsibility", which as a Vietnam-era marine you'd know nothing about.

I'm not like you, sticking Uncle Sam with your medical bills. Oh yeah, you "earned" the right to send the bill to the government.

So you can afford to pay for back-to-back major hospitalizations with cash out of pocket?

That's splendid news. Almost unbelievable, in fact! That puts you head and shoulders above the rest of the teeming masses, and you should be proud of your ascension to the elite in America, the 1%ers that Mitt Romney so loved.

Now then, back to the issue at hand. You personally have the financial wherewithall to weather any financial storm. What about the other 99% of America? They don't have near the fortune you do! Should we make them take personal responsibility and take out health insurance for themselves and their families? Or should we let them roll the dice like you seem determined to do? And if they do roll snakeyes and incur major medical expenses, raised taxes?

The simple fact of the matter is America tried it your way for the past 40 or so years, and your way didn't work. If you're as wealthy as you claim to be (and I happen to think you are one seriously lying son of a whore, but I digress), then honestly you should have no problem financially paying for insurance. I understand you not liking it, but that's a cost of living in a civilized society nowadays. I didn't like paying for Dubya's elective wars or a bloated Defense Department budget, and I show my displeasure at the ballot box. I suggest you do that too.

Now then, back to the issue at hand. You personally have the financial wherewithall to weather any financial storm. What about the other 99% of America?

They're not my problem. If you believe it is my responsibility to take care of them by being forced to hand over my money, then I get to make sure I get the most bang for my buck.

That means shaming the obese so they lose weight, stopping people from smoking, and going after both drug dealers and users.

But people like you will whine that I'm being too tough and uncaring by trying to prevent the problem in the first place rather than simply hand my money over after the fact.

Again, if the intent of Obamneycare was to make us healthier, it has failed miserably. People do not have to change their ways which insures health care costs will continue to escalate out of control. All that is happening now is insurance companies are getting a tremendous monetary windfall from all the people who don't need to get insurance but are now forced to hand over their money.

Here's an example of what I mean. There was an article in today's paper about a woman's husband who had a lung removed years ago due to getting cancer as the result of smoking. Did he stop smoking? No! He still smokes and now the wife is worried about him.

So there you have it. No responsibility whatsoever yet I'm supposed to hand over my money to coddle people like this.

our system does work, but lazy assholes like yourself drain the system. if we ended welfare and force your kind to stand up, purchase a set of balls, and become a man, to figure out how to make it on your own with out needed welfare

fucking coward

You deserve every fucking force of payment to the government. The more, the better.

People like you are the reason there's still need for government actions.

socialist fucktard ... thanks for proving to the world what a incompetent asshole you are

does the state award you with a full time baby sitter...you know, because you are such a fucking loser?

Well then I 'spose we should just send the government over and take your shit as well.

Obviously you don't need or deserve it.

Putz....

Some people still maintain that the United States of America was founded on Christian principles.

Mark J must be ecstatic, he's found a soul mate, someone who whines about the cost of health care premiums almost as much as he does.

Still playing school yard bully I see... Don't you have anything better to do?

Oh wait.. you DON'T..

In a way, we were. The terrorists, known as The Puritans, took over England through Oliver Cromwell. They beheaded the King then went about inflicting their view of Christianity on Great Britain, including abolishing the celebration of Christmas.

When the people had enough of their nonsense they were thrown out and went to the New World. There, they giggled with glee as the Indians were struck down by diseases brought from the Old World, and continued their tradition of "Our way or the highway" by kicking out Roger Williams because he dared to suggest a separation of church and state as well as allowing women to vote.

They were nice enough to give him a heads up that should he return to Massachusetts, his head would be going down.

So here we are, 200+ years later and the same things have come around.

And no, I'm not making this up:

LOL my shoulder surgurey cost half a million bro.....you can't afford cancer, and you can't afford a family trip to the ICU, I fucking PROMISE. Not anywhere in America...not anywhere. Family car wreck? You will be down 50 k just getting 4 of you to the ER.

Major traumatic injury resulting in 3-5 day hospital stay for a family? Fuuuuuuuuk...that could run you into 7 figures lighting fucking fast.

If that were true then all you need to do is to open a health care savings account. No exchanges, no Obamacare, no whining.

But it's not b/c he doesn't have that much money.

You mean it didn't work for the administrative state, that wants to control every aspect of American life, or the indolent strata of society, like yourself, who still believe its bullshit.

LOL put your tin foil hat back on Jr.

You keep ignoring the fact that it was REAGAN care's epic failure and overwhelming expense that brought us to Obamacare in the first fucking place.....putz.

Still playing school yard bully I see... Don't you have anything better to do?

Oh wait.. you DON'T..

Awwwwww someone was asked to back up their buushit and couldn't.....

Interesting article here about one charity hospital's costs.

Pre-Obamacare: $60 million dollars in indigent (charity) care.
Post-Obamacare: $27 million dollars in indigent care.

Same patient volume. The difference appears to be Medicaid expansion.

Tell us again about the "failure" of Obamacare, Miles/Mark_J/SomeoneYouKnow!!

you fucking idiot .... so more welfare! the simple fact is its WELFARE so tax payers (ie ones that have jobs, you know when watch your neighbors leave for work and you sit at home on your fat ass) are still paying

I just don't understand how you can be so fucking stupid

Putz....

I don't deserve my government? I fucking pay fo it ! And I'm not crying like a little baby about the taken penny that may be in use for somebody else in society who has to pay either.

No comment on the other facts of the matter however, typical of the all to nutless response Rob so often brings forth when his narrative is systematically dismantled .

If all you have is a cut-n-paste dump, and cannot be man enough to give us your own take on an issue, then ridicule is all you deserve.

When you are man enough to nut up and stop hiding behind the words of others, then we can have a discussion. I realize that would require considerably more intestinal fortitude than you've been historically able to muster.
