part 11 of the China Pearl Inn

Tio Jack must be an engineer one way or another as I look at his creation.

Jack leaves the coffee-drinking intellectual on the train he's on and lets it go on its maintenance run, but Jack returns to the station and looks over the yard.

Finding a Canadian Rail engineer figure complete with a lantern and thermos of cocoa, he adds the Tio Engineer to the engine and six cars, including a dining car. He sends it out on the express making the long turn before dropping off on the other side of the town.

Peeks in, goes to the bar and fixes a hot butter rum and curls up in the comfy chair next to the fire...

Katalynn so good to see you. A slow sensual kiss 💋
So what have you been up to.

Jack waves to Katalynn as he works on improving his Lego township on the one table, and two trains move around the tracks in the direction of the bar and back again to the table.

Nice work, Jack; it looks like your mechanized delivery system is just about ready to go. Very nice Lego town, I must say.

I don't think I've had the pleasure of Katalynn; perhaps you'd be so kind as to introduce me to the gentlewoman, cg.

Yes, I'll set up some flat cars to deliver drinks if people would like that. Anything you would like to see in the village?

A museum would be nice. It's only a village, so a small museum that has art and science and natural history would be ideal, though I don't expect it to have actual exhibits. And I can hardly wait for my double Redbreast delivery!

Smiles and waves at everyone. Life hasn't changed much, tho I am starting to get better emotionally at least. My laptop died so took a min to get a new one!

Hugs and return kisses to CG.

Greetings Tio, nice to meet you. Hope life is treating you fairly.

*a piece of paper flutters in and lands on the bar top*

My pardons to my co-writers. I am still here, but whatever this is, it's still got me. I am getting better though. Just slower than I would like.

The pleasure is mine, katalynn.

And Cait, do take care of yourself. Perhaps Jack can send you something of an elixir via his Legoland express.

Jack takes Tio's suggestion (a man who now has two characters on the railway) and begins the layout of a museum for the village, along with a small park and a whiskey distillery.

To Jack's surprise, he sees several villagers, including the village handyman, working on the fountain in the center—the tiny fellow in overalls waves to the passing postmen.

Jack walks into the Inn and puts a few fliers on the lobby bulletin board.

Greetings all. I hope everyone is well.

Jack goes to work in his village, and in the hopes of helping Cait, he begins building a large pharmacy in the village.

We have had Magic Snow as of the last couple of days. Their is snow covering the ground and then by noon it magicaly disappears. :coffee:

Our snow is a bit different. The snow is covering the ground, and the next day or two more snow covers the ground.

Jack works on the village, adding some lovely pine trees and deer to the town's woods and along the railroad route.

Wearing talk of the weather, he sets up the local TV station with a satellite on the roof and then moves to the section of road alongside the main track. He adds a small coffee shop with a large neon sign and places several Lego plow trucks carrying salt. The workers are all talking together outside as a man and sons load up a pickup truck with snow shovels and bags of salt.

The two trains go around the circle, passing the bar. Jack sighed, got a cup of coffee, and added some Jack Daniels. Things happening everywhere but in his world. Well, it will be a better day....

He ads a news stand and a worker outside the TV station. Well, not everything needs to change right away.

Tio I rather enjoy the snow, I love skiing, cross country or Alpine (down Hill). I guess it comes from living in the mountains for so many years.

*Ish walks in, wearing a festive celebration hat and blowing a party favor. Taking a seat at the end of the corner of the bar. He wanted to be left alone, otherwise he'd strike up a convo.*

Jack walks in, hangs up his parka by the door with his trusty snow shovel, and goes to the bathroom. After feeling more human again, he ventures into the kitchen and returns with a large bowl of hot chicken soup and a tall glass of water. He sits down by the Lego train set display and activates it. Lights in the small town come on, the trains start, and the yard whistle brings workers to the next little project.

Jack looks on with a smile as he enjoys his soup but makes sure to wave to everyone.

Ish waves back to the man who waved to himself and everybody who was here at the establishment. He went about to his "Tale Crafting" notebook he always carries with him so he can get some inspiration for his writing endeavors. He does have wild stories but cannot be clicked and lifted off the ground, sort to speak. He clicks the button to his pen, marinating.

"No. Already have done that." He said to himself. Only to hear a rumbling in his stomach. "Ah screw lamenting, I'm hungry."

Heads off to find the cook since he wasn't wanting just soup. Perhaps both Soup with a Main Course meal. He does eventually find the cook while the cook was outside, enjoying his usual smoke break.

Jack enters the morning and looks at the fliers by the door. There is no response yet, but maybe someone will be interested.

He first stops by the Lego village and throws the switch. The miniature town comes to life with activity in the town, and the two trains begin running.

Jack heads back and makes himself a large bowl of soup with some crackers and heads back to watch the village as he waits for other patrons to arrive.

She popped in, in her usual fashion carrying a hot cup of coffee laced with a bit of Irish, thanks to CG.

"Soup? Did someone say soup? I'd love a bowl."

Sliding onto a bar stool, she set her cup and down, turning to look at and admire, Jack's creation.

"Damn Jack, you're awesome! And did someone mention snow? We haven't had as much as in the past. Global warming, maybe? Or Mother Nature just being her usual self? Who knows for sure. That dang rodent saw his shadow though. Someone ought to skin him."
