Penis Pump bruising

I was playing with my pump yesterday. It has a gauge on it so you can watch the pressure level. I've used it before without any issues. However, yesterday I stayed within the guidelines, but after I finished, my penis was rather distended, and over the next couple of hours the shaft bruised up pretty good, but the head is normal looking. It doesn't hurt, but it looks like a way overripe banana now. Anyone know how long this bruising could last? Yeah, yeah, have your laugh, but any info would be appreciated.

It depends on how severe it is, like any other bruising. You can put Arnica, an herb obtained at health food/supplement stores (if you're in W. WA, call you're local Super Supplements maybe), on it to help the bruise fade more quickly.

If you've ingested anything that thins the blood recently, like aspirin, certain meds or alcohol, that may be why you bruised at the same pressure this time. Otherwise, it's probably wise to consult your doc since more bruising than normal can be a sign of serious medical conditions, and s/he may want to do bloodwork to check for those. Don't panic, just get it checked out.

Is everything still functioning? Any shape distention? If it's just how things look, then it's probably just some small surface vessels that burst. In that case, no worries, it's just like having a large hickey on your dick. If you have any pain, or if you have any areas that are bulging like they have excess blood in them, or if you are having trouble getting an erection or urinating, get to the doctor immediately. Don't mess around, if anything is bleeding in there you need to get it looked at asap. Better embarassed than having to work with damaged equipment for a long time to come.
