people kill me some times

I have a friend who works at a local pizza shop. Once I went to go say hi, and he was dealing with a customer, so I left him alone. Later on he told me what was going on. This woman was complaining that she'd bought some food, and it was never made. He went through all the slips, which are numerically ordered. They were all there, but there was no slip for this food she claimed to order. So obviously he wasn't going to make the food. Then she decided she wanted her money back for the food she DID get, and had already eaten.

No, no, no itw! You misunderstood me...

It was "You can work in the yard and sleep in the spare room."

Even the dog sleeps in the house here (he does get a blanket in front of my dresser). I take care of those in service to me... :D

There is a special section of the hell people go to for for mundane silliness for people like this.

I figure I'm never in THAT much of a hurry.

This person actually beat down the doors of Chipotle one day for ten freakin' minutes because they locked the doors 30 minutes before closing to get out early.

I was like WTF?! It's closed. Move on!

Wait, so they closed thirty minutes early, and the customer is an asshat?

Yes. Stuff happens. Electrical goes out. If no one's coming in losing money is pointless, frankly - it takes a certain volume to have a point to staying open.

He was an asshat for banging on the door for 10 minutes. You know, my cut off would've been about 8.

Newsflash. Most restraunts close early if their's no one there. So do bars, and any other place that gets it's money from customers. The only time that's not true is if the place is part of a large chain - like Shari's or . . . JC Penny's. And even those sometimes do, just not as routinely as others. My sister works at a bar - the closing time is technically 2:30 but her boss has her close at 1 if no one's there. My best friend works at a club on the air force base. Closing time is 9, but if no one's there she's supposed to close at 7. My sister in law is a waitress at a local restraunt. Closing time is 12, but if no one's there she closes at 11.

Personally, back in the days when I was managing a restaurant. Each one of those employees that closed early would have been looking for a new job the next day if I found out they had closed early without a DAMN good reason ie. fire, flood, gas leak.

Thats just me though.

Which is all I've experienced as well. "Not having people around" has never cut it as a good excuse to close early when I was working, and it doesn't fly well with me in the slightest when I'm on the other side of the counter.

I understand shit happening, I don't understand "I'm bored, want to go, and hey there's no people right at this very second so I'll close early."

No one said they were closing early cause they were bored or whatever. And frankly, as long as the manager/owner gave the approval for shutting early it's no one's business why. If you show up to a store and the door is LOCKED, and the closed sign is turned banging on the door for 10 minutes makes you an idiot and a moron. It's also agressive enough behavior that I'd have called the police.
