He was only slightly embarrassed/uncomfortable because he had made Sabastian uncomfortable. So it was kind of like empathy embarrassment. But actually making him, himself, embarrassed, is going to take something a lot more socially awkward and/or innapropriate

Also, nothing would be stopping Damien from telling Cora, although he would have the choice if he wanted to bring it up before or after they go swimming. Since he doesn't want to swim anyway, might give him a better reason to keep a lookout. Also, the general is only going to allude to the base incident to start, so Damien might not immediately assume it has anything to do with Cora.

Okay, now that it's morning, update on the toe: the nail still hurts under the bandaid when I move my toe a certain way, but that's to be expected. I believe it's still fairly attached, so now I just have to wait for it to grow and slowly fuse again. Thinking about it makes me a bit sick though. Blurg.

Anyway, I loved that post, uber creepy. Is the guy in the picture the half-zombie, or is it just regular dude Sam who unfortunately received the punishment for the other guy's failure?

@Drobabes: It's actually not as painful as you might think at this point. As long as I don't move it much, it seems to be fairly normal. I just need to leave the bandaid on for all eternity.

So I just thought of something kind of fucked up, cause I was thinking of how we're going to keep Damien from spilling all of the beans to Vin.

What if, after he tells Vin about that picture, a new present gets left for him a few days later. Except this time, it's that women that Damien took before? The one that is going to flinch when she sees a picture of his face?

The note will be a clear warning of 'it said for your eyes only', and then as good measure he'll probably throw in a picture of Cora to get the message across?

Cause in the generals mind, he wants Damien to know that He knows things about him.

What if the picture of Cora is one where she's swimming or something so he knows it's recent and that the general is saying that he can hurt Cora at anytime. That would really freak him out.

So if that's what we're doing, are we going to do the scene where she recognizes Damien pretty soon? Like are we going to check back in on the base?

Yea I'm thinking so. I'm trying to wake up a bit (hella overslept eck), but I'm going to start writing Tommys bit in the next post or so.

I'm thinking what the general does, since he has medical training, is he'll bring people into his office on a regular basis under the guise of checking on everyone and making sure everyone is doing ok. So, one of his lackeys will eventually go find her and say like, "Ok, your check up coming up next", and lead her to his office.

Also, are you ok with the general torturing her? I'm thinking not anything too heavy, but definitely some pain like maybe whipping her so she had marks all over her body, and probably leaving her with a few men to use her, then they take some pictures of her. If not, he could just show some pictures of her in the compound.
