Hmm... He's your character, so the decision is ultimately yours, but I think the general wouldn't want to be implicated in anything that happens to her unless he's not going to let her go. To keep suspicions under wraps, perhaps he lets her go and has a couple of his men ambush her, putting a blindfold on her and fucking her, taking pictures as they do so.

Perhaps there would be a picture of her covered in cum. The caption of the note could be like, "did she look like that when you were done with her too?"
