After giving Pamela one last kiss, he watched her go into her cabin. Steven started making his way to his cabin when it struck him that he had invited Pamela back to have a nightcap, but did not have anything to offer her. In a little bit of a panic, he rushed to the bar and tried to buy a bottle of champagne. The bartender said that they did not have any champagne left at the bar. In fact, the bartender said that even if they did, he couldn't give him the whole bottle.
Steven then asked for two margaritas. He had no idea if Pamela drank tequila, but he was frazzled. He had to get something, and get back to his cabin and change before Pamela got there. Carrying the two drinks back to his room, Steven thought about how his "game" was off. He wasn't so smooth inviting a woman to join him for a drink when he had nothing to offer her.
Once back in the cabin, Steven placed the two drinks on the table on the balcony. Then he removed the tux; taking care to hang it up. He pulled on a pair of shorts, and, as he was looking for a tee to put on, he heard a knock at the door. He continued to dig into his bag for a clean shirt, and heard another tap on his door. Steven went to the door and opened it. Pamela was standing there. "Sorry, come on in, and no, I did not plan to greet you with no shirt on... it is a long story."
After Pamela came into his cabin, Steven grabbed the first tee that he could find in his bag and pulled it over his head. Then, he walked out onto the balcony with Pamela. Once they sat down, he looked at her and smiled. "You look great, even when you are dressed comfortably." He looked down at the two drinks sitting on the table. "You cannot imagine what I have been through since I left you." He then proceeded to tell Pamela about his not having anything to drink and his quest to find something. "So, if you don't like margaritas, I apologize."
