I've thought about getting one, a lot. I really do want to, but I think it costs a lot of money and I really can't get one now when my daughter is still young. She will not understand why mommy can draw on herself, but she cannot.

I think that is wise. I waited until my boys were grown. I think that a person's ink should mean something, be well thought out, and not done in a drunken state.

It's the planetary symbol of Neptune. I like it because of the anime Sailor Moon. She is the soldier of grace and determination and is also a skilled musician. I feel a kinship to her, and I kind of look up to her, as well.

Yes that could be a good description of it. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Americanization of anime as a genre, but her story as told in Japan, also helped me identify parts of myself during confusing, adolescent time.

I have limited knowledge of anime in general. I have seen and watched some. I am familiar with Japanese culture, and how deep many meanings symbols and characters have.
