Pictures in Black & White

For some reason, some posters have the option of posting images as attachments from their own files. I lost this ability about two years ago, probably for violating some obscure reading and interpretation of the rules. Since then I’ve only been able to post links with the IMG tool. You’ll notice if one responds to a visual image, it will say “attachment “.

Question: How come some pictures posted can be seen, while most cannot? I've heard the issue is that you can't post pictures of people, yet there's a sports picture I can see. I can understand no nudity or sex, but I've posted a picture of a chocolate milk shake and THAT was given a link and not able to be seen.

Anyone have a logical explanation?

From what I can tell, it is basically a new rule/policy: all images get converted into links.

I thought so too...but this image is from the top of the last page of this thread...and it shows as a picture there..

And this one is from the what kind of sex do you want thread posted Wednesday...and it shows up as a picture as well...
