Poetry for killing time

Poised, bowed, her head aloft erect
How did she know that
Her eyes were to be
closed?

Subscibe if you will I appreciate the thought,
you know I am yours I will accept being caught.
Your words scribe themselves on my very being,
I hope you feel the love like I had upon seeing.
Your words and actions make me feel so good,
How you make me feel is better then gold.
The touch of your skin and the feel of your breath,
makes me feel better then one who has all the wealth.
The baby you carry brings me so much joy,
I feel like a child myself just like a toy.
I will care for you and her like no one can,
I pledge all this just so I can be a man.

I already told you in pm how I feel about this one...

C'mere *hugs you close* :rose:

Smiles softly and gives you a wink,
to the lady I adore dressed all in pink.
I only hope you can care,
like I do for you, on a dare.
My words are not enough,
for a lady while fragile is still so damn tough.

Your words mean so much to me. As do you. *hugs* Thank you, truly. :rose: :rose:

The final
Exercise in
Exorcism....
A Poetess bids
Adieu!

AAAAAAAAAchoooooo!

:) :catroar: :rose:
I bid you adieu
Or much adoo
Look, for you
I bid
at least,
nothing new
(to upset).
And that, in the end,
I hope,
will do.

*hugs you back* My pleasure doll. The words are easy when one is thinking about something good.

Caught in a trap with no way out,
the rage growing in you makes you want to shout.
The fire flowing in your veins,
No one can possibly know your pain.
The only one that can help is tied to her bed,
and people claim you are sick in the head.
My body and mind are yours to call,
I love you and no other I promise you doll.
I play and flirt and enjoy the game,
I know you play and do the same.
Poor boys get all worked up,
Never knowing you are treating them like a young pup.
One day soon they will learn their mistake,
I don't feel bad that they miss what I take.

this last one was interesting babe.. *smiles*

Every love's the love before
In a duller dress.
That's the measure of my love---
Here's my bitterness:
Would I know a little more,
Or very much less!

I would live all my life in nonchalance and insouciance,
Were it not for making a living, which is rather a nousiance.

Your interest in me is a well known fact,
one that I take with just a bit of tact.
No one does it better then you,
you should know my heart knows what is true.
I am trapped in my own mind,
I care and adore you in kind.
Whatever the words and shit that is said,
no one can change what is in my head.
I hurt when I have to stay away,
One hell of a price I have to pay.

Atmas you are something good,
but if your box was empty I possibly could.
Hard to answer when you can't talk back,
I promise I am not full of crap.

I have to say, this is almost better than pm'ing *smiles* except that I'm not talented enough to respond in kind

Grins at your words knowing how you feel,
I don't mind that you can't play the cards I deal.
Your thoughts are enough to make me smile,
I would go for you whether an inch or a mile.
No need to waste time with witty talk,
You know what I need, hell baby you fuckin rawk.

In feeling light, in looking glazed
there was little seen coming way
In the time missed and failed to try
one couldn't help yelling loud
give it back give it back
at the night he raged
and sighed
and kept on typing

Oops mistake much obliged.
I missed this chance to have you confide.
In haste I erase and lose a gem
and my box remains full again.

A mistake made in honest never hurt,
My words or thoughts were never meant to be curt.
I know of who I speak and never change,
regardless of who they are and how strange.

Rites of Passage

Each day/night I find this venue (interactive poetry or prose- when the writers/actors/posters are present together and doing "a thing" spontaneously...part real/part designed for effect) offers so many ways to experience/express/act out the dramas of life and death and the many things in between on that continuum. I spontaneously experienced/acted out/creatively wrote one here last night amid the postings of "the youngers" that I am calling "Rites of Passage". I don't know if many will understand the process but I will edit/adjust a few things today to try to demonstrate the stages...

My only consolation in using this thread (once again) to do such "real time" dramatic demonstration (of the experience of a life's "Rite of Passage" this time) is that maybe...atmas and Perg kinda "got it" a little in the end. The exercise is both real and an entertainer's drama...at best that is the way I have today to explain it...felt and acted out in part spontaneously...in part designed and written as a life lesson along the way. Oh my...no wonder I'm percieved as nuts here (at Lit) at times...I am in so many ways...and yet...if one watches...there is some value for others in much of it...at least I hope so! :rose: My own experiences as I go along teach me things brand new and so I try sometimes to impart and pass them on...to you (the reader here).

Other threads connected to the process include: Poems by Poppy, Que Sera Sera...An Entertainer's Lament, and Whispers...atmas...grrrr. I will try to describe the process a little better today in this thread but whether I can or not effectively is yet to be seen. May be just another round of personal exorcism as my life passes through some rough spots/transitions/transformations. Damn...there's that word again...

No words can be said
when you refuse to hear
the pattern unfolds
this time from fear.

No trust was broken
only thoughts prevail
too stubborn to listen
and yet hasten to assail.
