I didn't vote for Trump and I don't like him, but I'm surprised that Hillary Clinton didn't know about the Electoral College, which has been around since the constitution was ratified. Democrats seem to want everyone to play by rules that favor the Democrats, whether they are part of the constitutional framework or not. There have been a few times that Democrats have had massive majorities in congress as well has controlling the presidency, but I can't seem to recall them ever attempting to do away with the Electoral College.
Modern electoral campaigns are designed to win a majority of Electoral College votes, and anyone who read the crap coming from the DNC and the tame media in the run up to the election knows that Clinton believed she had a winning strategy based on exactly that, and felt no need to attempt to win over voters in many states at all.
If you want direct democracy, or one-person-one-vote, then work for that. But don't pretend that Trump stole the election by playing by the rules.
