I'm sorry, I wasn't clear with my original post. I want to put a video on the Youtube website and I was wondering if anyone has put a video on youtube. Is it complicated? What did you use?

I don't know how to do it a post, but there should some text in a box next to the video that says embed. Just copy and paste the text. It used for HTML or XML based sites.

Just wondering if anyone has ever done it, and how they did it. I'm interested in posting a video, but am not sure how though. I don't even think I have the proper equipment.

You can NOT post a video in the sense of having it play when the thread is opened. You can post a link to youtube simply by putting the youtube URL in your post and leaving "Automatically parse links in text" checked in the Additional options of the newpost page.

It's brain dead easy. Go to youtube, register an account and follow the links to "upload a video". Some of my videos were posted in asf format, some were avi.

The video files you upload is auto-converted to .FLV format, a format used by most youtube-wannabes.
