Pres. Bill Clinton is ripping the Republicans a new asshole.

I kept nodding off, B-B-B-Bidin' my time for the m-m-m-main show...

Did he mention his little punkin?

:D

Yeah, I remember that. The most decorated active duty American told by some 25 year old punk he wasn't welcome in the White House in uniform. Bullshit Bill had to publicly apologize for that one...kind of a precursor to his future.

Oh, let's be fair. The White House photographer may have just called in sick...

;) ;) Weenie Ma'am? Yes Ma'am. Thank you Ma'am. These are called Blues, Ma'am...

Now I know why...

Wanna bet on whether he mentions Pericles or not?

Ishmael

I am DYING to see pillars of light...

I don't know vette. I was playing the "Hi Bob" game everytime he s-s-s-stuttered, so I soon lost focus. I'll wait for Hannity to tell me if there were logical Bushisms too...

Burn Hannity's books!

PLEASE!

Clinton is hard for me to listen too, I heard part of his act on the radio on my way home from dinner last night. He's just as contemptible today as he was when he stuck his finger in our faces and lied to us.

Which time?

"I did not inhale"?

or

"I did not have sex with that woman"?

or

"It depends what your definition of "is" is"?

[I'm sure there are some I've missed]

It was a good speech and highlighted exactly why the GOP will be set firmly into the minority for the forseeable future. Because the American public has seen exactly what happens when they get the chance to institute their policies.

My favorite lines..

"People the world over have always been more impressed by the power of our example than by the example of our power."

"Our position in the world has been weakened by too much unilateralism and too little cooperation; a perilous dependence on imported oil; a refusal to lead on global warming; a growing indebtedness and a dependence on foreign lenders; a severely burdened military; a backsliding on global non-proliferation and arms control agreements; and a failure to consistently use the power of diplomacy, from the Middle East to Africa to Latin America to Central and Eastern Europe.

Clearly, the job of the next President is to rebuild the American Dream and restore America's standing in the world."

I actually read this whole thread. The "usual suspects" showed up, and made it all the more humorous. :D

Slick Willy, like it or not, folks... may be a liar, but he's one HECK of a "Communicator". I could definitely see him as an international envoy of some sort... the team of he and the Senior Bush seemed to do some good, quietly, did it not?

In the end, let's see what transpires between now, and November... with Billary onside, curbing the "legitimacy" of the more radical (NOW, etc.) dissenting special interests, Sen. Obama at least has a chance against a united GOP.

Just my $.02 Furrin' opinion, eh? ;)

Bill Clinton

Yeah....he sounded as convincing as when he said...."I did not have sex with Ms. Lewinsky" Don't be fooled by smoke and mirrors.

Favorite Biden statement so far (I'm listening to his speech now as I was in class and missed the live broadcasts).

"Let me make this pledge to you right here and now. For every American who is trying to do the right thing, for all those people in government who are honoring their pledge to uphold the law and respect our Constitution, no longer will the eight most dreaded words in the English language be: "The vice president's office is on the phone.""

Yeah, the world loves it when we include them in our domestic affairs and our national interests, trouble is not enough Americans describe themselves as citizens of the world and only a distinct minority want to subordinate the national sovereignty to weenies in Europe.

Thanks for being a great demonstration of exactly the mindset that makes the GOP so unpalatable.

I knew I could count on at least one of you.
