I would think the first order of business is to prove his character is such that what he says trumps what he is, and therefore becomes worthy of being addressed.

It's not just him....there's a few of them. The crackhead prostitute lovin' former and mayor of DC also comes to mind. What he says likewise has no value to me because of what he is. He is an incredibly devisive man. That's why the right laughed when Democrats were so in shock at how he takled about Obama during the primaries. To the left, it was unbelievable... to the right, we saw it as business as usual.
