Pretty Little Pit Fighter

Startled but strong she glared at him...

Yeah... I am... you want me to live there... fine... the Pits are what I am and what I do... Got it.

She watched him fairly sure with how fast he had to have moved that he may have been a fighter before.

"Tell ya what. Why don't you fight me if you're so bent of combat? I didn't think it would come to this but I'm always down for a good scrap. " He threw a punch aimed right for her head. It was slow enough for her to react or dodge it. If she had the reflexes or sense to. He wasn't going to hold back.

Dodging some of the punches a couple connected and some she used the force of his swing against him and guided him down with the punch. She began throwing out attacks of her own seeming to flow between street brawling and various martial arts. It was clear why they would have to drug her to make her lose.

He let her hit him a few times and finally he let her drop him. Then he stood up and said non-chelantly."Is that all you've got?" And then came at her differently this time. He was just slapping her left and right. When she countered he swayed away amazingly gracefully with a combination of Tai Chi and Yoga as his body bent this way and that. He dodged everything and countered with slaps taunting her with every hit.

Growling she kept fighting. never really seeming to tire only fueled more and more by anger.

Whatever... slaps... that's it... that all you got?

He kept it up. Taunting her. Dodging her. During the exhange of blows, he threw in at her "The pits are for riff raff and drugdes of society. You my dear are a tigress within and don't belong there." His slaps stopped and he began started using judo and a mix of hapkido and used her energy against her. Throwing her this way and that. "You can do better than the pits!"

Her eyes seemed to darken as she noted the shift to martial arts and she herself began to fall solely into martial arts moving her form into the ancient fluid movements of Hwa Rang Do. Her eyes remained dark as she fought. Determined and slowly colder.

He noticed her adaptation. ANd then saw her posture change. She began to become cold, calculating and determined. He thought "She thinks she's gonna win. Wow."
He endured her assaults and kept going. Time continued. Hours passed. He kept it up. His endurance was endless. He was trying to tire her out. But clearly that was a mistake.

Fighting was her element... All she knew... Most peoples home was a building mortar and steel hers... was fighting. She continued fighting still not appearing to tire nor lose her breath. She merely grew colder and darker.

He continued the joust. He wasn't going to give in to it. He wasn't tiring physically. Not even mentally really. He was amazed at her endurance. At her capacity to maintain. He brought it back to reality and started delivering blows and kicks here and there to mix it up. Doing some light damage but nothing she clearly couldn't handle. He also allowed her to start hitting him harder. Letting her fully connect and allow her to be slowly unleashed. He was curious to see was she was fully capable of. She was after all going up against something non human. "Answer me this, in the pits, have you ever fought for this long?" As they continued exchanging blows. She landed a couple to his face and some blood broke from a cut and began todrip down his face. Oh no....control. Use control....

She nodded.. a few times... Why...

Still fighting with all she had. changing forms a little back and forth as she continued to endure strikes and dish out strikes.

Yeah... a few times... why?

She continued to fight for all she was worth... landing a few good punches and taking many a good hit as they fought.

"Just curious." He smiled. THen he panicked. A look of panick and sadness came over him that he had to stop fighting her. THe sun began to rise. Crap. All of sudden he stopped figting and ran into the house leaving her there.

Sunrise... pits were closed... fought for nothing... no pay in that fight... shrugging she headed back and to the room that he seemed to have arranged for her and crashed out.

The day passed as he slept and he woke up to his alarm telling him the sun had gone down. He rose out of his room and walked around and got his coffee ready and cleaned up from the joust they had last night. He had to admit. It was fun. She really knew her stuff. He hadn't met someone so...committed. Imppressive.

She had woke up long before him and figured taking off again for the pits was a good idea she had to make some kind of money.

She moved quickly in the sunlight heading back to the pits. Telling them she was ready to fight.

He found her gone and knew she left for the pits. Man. He really had to break her spirit. But how...? Then he smiled and made a couple of phone calls and it was ready. He drove to the pit where she was and found the owner. He and bribed the owner to bet everything the owner had on him and he would ensure he won and would defeat her.
When the owner of the pit realized the money at stake he couldn't say no. Mortals always seccumed to greed.
The fight was scheduled and he went and got ready for it.

She readied for her fight and walked into the pit. Seeing him enter as well and sighed. Well this asshole was going to prevent her from making any money... what the hell was his deal.

I lose to him Jacob and the cops find out about all of this... and your other ventures that I know about... Remember that.

She looked at him and moved to stand ready.

Jacob just looked at her and laughed.
"Honey the cops will never know I exist. No matter what you tell them."
He chuckled and the idea of her empty threat. He didn't worry about it. The phone call and arrangement which she was unaware of was that her opponant was promising not only all the bets, but free protection in legal fees and whatnot for him to continue operating...so he could get her.
Jacob went to announce the fight and get it going.

Gerard was ready and standing on the other side of the arena. He saw Jacob talking to her. She was trying to give him attitude and threaten him and then he laughed. He knew whatever she tried to throw at him would bounce back compared to what he offered jacob. He sighed at human greed. He stretched out and took his shirt off and stood ready. Hands clasped neatly behind his back. Very docile looking. But he stood errect and poised.

Once the fight started she lunged into battle just as she had before. Determined to win or literally die trying.. She was fed up with the games and crap form this guy. Her eyes were very dark and her actions colder than the night before as she threw herself into the fight.

She came at him like the being she was last night. He smiled. Blow by blow, she landed. He dodged her, blocked her and put on a good show for the crowd. Making it look like she was actually trying and winning. Then she threw a kick and he grabbed her leg and launched her across the ring floor in a manner the crowd had never seen. The crowd hushed as they gazed on the mysterious newcomer. He didn't go after her while she was on the floor, he waited for her to get up and come back for more.

She did get up and she did go after him again to beat her she was going to make sure he had to kill her she had nearly done so several times before. She fought with that cold calculated method from the night before ignoring any blood or pain.

She got up and then there it was. From last night. He finally found the animal within her. He started at her and let her land a few good hits. Letting the crowd see this new fighter that was emerging in front of them. What he had sadly pushed out of her. Hopefully he could figure out a way so she could just turn it on. But for now, he focused his energy and brought the fight to a close. He delivered a series of quick blows without any real damage, but then started poking her body in various places here and there. Soon, she collapsed, appearing to have been knocked out as the last hit he gave her was a solid punch so the crowd saw a woman drop from a punch.
What really occurred was he had hit various pressure points throughout her body that knocked her unconcious and paralyzed her. The fight was over and he was declared the winner.
Everyone was paid, he turned his winnings back to the owner, and then the deal was he got her afterwards. he was going to have to put her in lockdown if she was going to run again.
He got in his car with her in the passanger seat unconcious and drove home.
He put her in the living room floor first where he administered the accupressure to un paralyze her. She would regain consciousness on her own.
He then picked her up and put her in the lockdown room. He wish he didn't have to, but she was running. So he had to do it the hard way.

The lockdown room consisted of a square room with a window on the same side as the door. Essentially it was a cage. With a bed and a toilet. He didn't want to have to restrain her yet.
He put her in the room and lied her down and then waited for her to wake behind the glass outside.
He had a small desk and read his Dune book.

Waking up she saw where she was and raged. Leaping at the door and attacking her confinement.

What the HELL!!!!

She was nearly crazed fairly quickly slamming into the door and and flipping out at being trapped.

He watched her abuse herself at being caged. He expected it. He pushed the button for the intercom and said "Would you calm down?"
