Questions for Lesbian Couples

Mooncup
I love love love mine.

Basically a small silicone cup you insert like a tampon. They last for about 20 years, are ecologically friendly (no pads or tampons to dispose of) and they are so *so* much more comfortable than pads or tampons. Also you only need to check/clean it once or twice a day (they say twice for health reasons, but it doesn;t matter if you forget one) and I have never ever ruined a pair of knickers whilst wearing one. Brilliant things.

Told you I was evangelical. And no, they don't pay me. :D

I might try one of those!!!!

What happens if you have a crash or something? Does the cup tip over and spill?

And how do you pull it out?

And how do you pull it out?

It stays in your vagina by a light vacuum, so no - it can;t 'tip over' or spill and mine has never leaked. To remove it you squeeze it gently to break the vacuum and pull it out.

You know one of the weirdest benefits? No smell. I hated that rotting meat smell and now you just get bright red odourless fluid. Much more pleasant to deal with.
(sorry any blokes reading this)

I alwasy hated trying to remove a tampon when you've mostly stopped bleeding and you get that cotton-wool-on-the-teeth sensation <shudder> ugh.

Any more questions?

Excellent - go get one from Boots.
Every time I persuade a woman to buy one of these I feel a little bit happier about the fact I have to drive everywhere...

A brave Virgin to argue with an old-timer, but I would have to agree I think. TGP's sentiments did not seem dissimilar to Mat's.
Thank you. I didn't really mean to argue so much as simply admit I didn't understand what the issue was.

No, I didn't see those sentiments as the same at all, really. The part that really stood out to me as not only incorrect (at least in my case), but also more than a little insulting, is highlighted below.
So basically that statement says we're gay because it's just too hard to be straight because men are different?
Thank you so much for clarifying the portion of the statement that was at issue. If he was really implying anything close to the above, then I agree; that's insulting. I'm still not certain what he meant. I can see some less offensive possibilities, but taking into account the "I was just guessing" post I'm not expecting any additional explanation and, at this point, I'm not sure I even want one.

One other problem with the entire "men and women are different and gay people want someone who's the same" premise is it assumes all women are the same and all men are the same. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've sure as hell not found this to be true.
So true.

Can you explain why you are attracted to the sex you're attracted to?

Hmm. Food for thought. This might be a good writing exercise. (I haven't read the whole thread yet, just got to this point, so forgive me if someone already mentioned it.)

ETA: Finished. :D Still think it's a good idea.

For Mils: I'll be getting one of those mooncups some day soon. Thanks for the info on another thread a while back.

Got this feedback today.

"Not gone sugar. But I do have a question. If Lesbians don't like men
and etc. How come they have BOB's? Battery operated Boyfriends?
hmmmmm.

Just always wondered this.
"

Anyone got suggested replies. Polite ones.??

Well, having completely hijacked this thread, and caused a deal of discussion....I have composed and sent my reply to my correspondent.

I hope it satisfies HIM.

:D

And yes, I was polite, and tried not to use words with more than 3 syllables.

:D
