You cannot determine success based on genetics, and certainly not based on IQ. All that the IQ test results tell us is how good the person is at taking IQ tests. They don't even predict grades, let alone lifetime success. IQ means literally nothing. It was originally created to determine children that were at risk for learning disabilities in order to help them get better. It's fluid, not static, and therefore not something that can really be inherited, and definitely not on a single gene like you're thinking. Fucking hair color isn't a single gene. In fact the variability in IQ tests is so high that there has never been one proposed that can pass the IRB. You can take the same test and fluctuate by a ridiculous amount. Plus, human intelligence moves so fast that the test has to be readjusted every year- the average adjustment is 3 points a decade, meaning that every generation gets more intelligent than the last. When measures objectively, human intellect doubles about every 20 years, making the test obsolete around 1947, because it no longer actually measures anything. A kid with an IQ of 100 today and 120 tomorrow (because of the lack of veriability) is still more intelligent than their parents, unless they have a major learning disability, regardless of their parents intelligence, because that's how evolution works. Also, because IQ just measures test-taking ability and not intelligence, there are TONS of ways to raise it.


Writing - Make a regular habit of writing down your thoughts. Writing is said to be the best machine of the "mental gym". It provides the perfect workouts for creativity, logic and focus.

Reading - Try to finish a book every week. Reading novels and books leads you to a world of imagination and provides a much-needed break to your mind and gray cells.

Watching Fiction - This may include watching television, drama, theatre and plays. A world of fiction makes you imagine yourself in that position and leads to a diversion of thoughts that otherwise just revolve around your basic needs in this capitalist world.

Changing Hobbies - Engage yourself in new activities on a regular basis. Don't limit yourself to a particular activity for a long time. This will improve your learning capability. However, you should also take care of the fact that you should not keep on changing your hobby just for the sake of it. You should develop some interest in it and your gray matter should participate fully in it.

Solving Puzzles - Solve as many crosswords and puzzles as you can. It keeps your brain sharp and boosts your learning capabilities.
