The thirteenth floor
The problem with hotels these days, was that there was no thirteenth floor. I checked the elevator, and the highest floor was twelve. It wasn't thirteen, but it was a place to start. I pressed the number twelve, and waited. The elevator music really sucked.
With elevator doors finally opened, and i stepped out. It looked to me like a regular floor. I walked around a bit to see if I could find anything out of the ordinary. It was quite a large floor, and from the windows, it was quite a view. My feet made muffles sounds on the soft carpet.
Finally, I noticed something different. the door to room 12*13, was more metallic than the wooden doors. I looked like wood, but I could feel the cold metal underneath the brown paint. The problem was getting in. I couldn't trust anybody in this hotel. Even the cleaning lady had a pistol strapped to her thigh. I also noticed that the staff all had holsters under their large vests. No sir, couldn't trust a damn soul in this hotel.
