The sky was clear enough to see the stars an hour ago, but it's clouding over again. I even saw the sun today!!!

Same here...venus is really bright tonight and loads of stars out... due to start raining and blowing a gale soon though

At the risk of sounding geeky, I missed out seeing the major planetary alignment on 21st... the UK sucks for star gazing. Now this is geeky, because I included a planetary conjunction in one of my erotic tales

Oh I forgot all about that
When there's no cloud I can usually see loads because I'm out in the countryside with only a little bit of light pollution.
It's great for the meteor showers

I missed the alignment too. Really lucky here for sky though. We have a designated dark sky space quite nearby at Sutton Bank on the Yorkshire Moors.

I went up to Kielder forest once to visit the observatory. The pure dark skies were magical

We’re not plants! I just wondered because I had a sample taken recently. I googled it and got a lot of nonsense about colour spectrum adsorption but no proper answer just lots of wrong reasons, like it isn’t the amount of oxygen in the blood. A vampire would know
