Rambling Rosie's Retreat

Blood sausage, or black pudding as we know it, is a fantastic food stuff. It's a resourceful and tasty way of flavouring and solidifying the pigs blood that would be wasted otherwise.

You can get a Manchester egg which is like a scotch egg, but it uses a black pudding coating instead of sausage meat.

And I eat my steak blue.

Oh still mooing?

I've had black pudding a few times but I have to really not think about what its made from. It goes well with a full breakfast but is also nice with scallops on the rare occasion I get to be fancy

Why? I genuinely don't understand why flesh is good, liquid blood is good, but cooked blood is ewww...

I get that some people won't like the taste, but that's different

I know. I'm the same with pork scratchings, especially when you get one with a little piggy hair still there.

Still shove them in my face though..

Pork scratchings are pure filth and if I ever need to euthanise myself I will eat them until my heart stops. (And maybe a bit of KFC skin, but only the skin)

Also, I don't think the red juice from steak is blood. Apparently it's hemoglobin or something similarly named.
