Okay, now ladies and gents, major brave emotionally tender moment here. I collect and read kids' books. And now I have to add the rest of her books to my Amazon wish list.

Soooo last night I turned off the lights and headed to bed in the DARK!

There's a whole set that cover the 6 wives of Henry the 8th .. (The Queen's fool is the rivalry between Queen Mary I and Queen Elizabeth I)... and they are rather yummy. Plus..as most good historical fiction, they've triggered this hunger in me to read more about that time period (hence the quote in my signature)

I'm trying to work my way through The Silmarillion right now...ugh lol. Its so hard! Its like reading the Middle Earth bible or something. Haha, I'm enjoying it a lot. Its pretty rough though.

I would suggest don't try to unearth it until you've got a loooooong time to devote to it. I actually haven't had a chance to pick it up for a few weeks because of school and I've completely forgotten whats going on.

Maybe I should spark note it! lol

haha I really should. All these fucking difficult Elvish names are really hard to keep track of.

I say screw em. Just shorten them to something you can relate to or ignore them. I hate Elvish names!

The next thing I'm supposed to read isnt for fun...

I'm up for a promotion when the new office opens and my boss suggested I read this book that is required for all new team leaders.

So I'll be reading, "The First-Time Manager"

/le sigh

I'm reading Sara Donati's Wilderness series. They're kinda like Diana Gabaldon's Outlander books.

Titles:
Into the Wilderness
Dawn on a Distant Shore
Lake in the Clouds
Fire Along the Sky (currently reading)
Queen of Swords
