If Bezos doubles his income next year, that will be because he provided even more goods and services to even more people who appreciated the value that he delivered to them. Enriching their lives in whatever way they bargained with him for. He hasn't harmed me at all (unless, of course I sold books, in which case I open a bakery where I sell scones and coffee over conversation in the former bookstore). People can afford my rapaciously expensive scones and coffee because they're spending Less on toilet paper and books.

I know a guy who was very happy that they were raising the minimum wage. He made more than minimum but he would get a corresponding raise. 6 months later he’s unhappy because his cost of living won’t up (rent, groceries, exc.) So now he actually has less money. I asked him if he thought he was the only one that was getting a raise?

Your stuck on income inequality. How does giving more to people who want to do less help. Why don’t we encourage people to not rely on entry level jobs as a career. My kid started off at a fast food job, then went to a restaurant and is now is a apprentice welder. It should never be about what I can get, is what can I do. Or join the military worked for me.

Because that's hard...it's just easier to vote for a government to go rob someone else for you, especially when you're too lazy/chicken shit to grab a gun and go do it yourself.
