Realms of Peril

Siegfried

Siegfried strode out of the palace, immediately confronted by the young man that had accompanied the Minuri descendant.
"What is your name, good sir?" Siegfried asked.
"Neil." the man responded.
"Okay, Neil. We're going to go and get the others and bring them into the palace. And then I have to leave. So I am trusting you to look after everyone."
"Where are you going?" Neil asked.
"I'm going after the girl... there is definately something interesting about her. The Elven King has told me to stay here, but I cannot stand by while she is in danger. Galen has already left to go after her, and I have a long way to go to catch up, but I have some friends here, who can give me a swift horse. And then I shall do my best to catch them. Of course, it may already be too late, but I have to try. Anyway, let's go get the others."
Siegfried clapped Neil on the shoulder, before the two of them made their way back to Galen's home.

I draw my sword from the vampire's chest and go find my dagger. I replace both in their scabbards as I look for the trail the wolves left. I start after them again. I am running as fast as I can and still follow their tracks, which lead to the swamps.

"I can't stay here either," Neil replied as they walked back to Galen's home. "I'm coming with you."

Siegfried

Sieg shot a glance at the man, a small smile playing across his lips.
"I guess it is not my place to stop you, Neil. If you wish to join me, you shall. But be warned: I will be riding fast, and will not wait for you if you fall behind. Can you ride a horse?"
The two were just about to Galen's estate by now.

OOC: A note about the golden armor for anyone big enough to wear it. It doesn't adjust it size more than a little bit, so you just gotta be a large mn, which knocks elves off the list of wearers, sorry! But the armor is ment for those that dont' have alot of nateral magic of thier own, though the vamps coudl have gotten away with it since they do have some larger bloaks among them unlin the elven kins.

The power of the armor varies from user to user. So use your imagination and dont' go too hog wild, it doesn't keep you from dieing while wearing it, just helps you out a bit by enhancing whatever warrior spirit in your heart type thing
/OOC:

IC:

When the man tied her it was cruely and hard she struggled when he took her up and prepared for another simular painful punch dispite the coloring bruises acrossed her arms and wrists when he let her down, her bear feet sinking into the mud feeling suddenly extreamly naked under the gaze of a dozen sets of yellow eyes. Lustful hungry eyes that looked over her golden body with longing. The vampier shook her head his hand wrapped in the golden curls and pulled it back nearly painfully that she cried out as he warned her that he'd let them have her if she tried to get free.

He flung her over his shoudler but she was not cowed in the least she did not believe someone would go to that kind of trouble to grab the color changing human just to leave her to the odd yellow eyes with wide mouthfuls of teeth.

So she kept struggling trying to kick the vampire or something, her stomach hurt from being carried over his shoudlers, her skin felt tight from the whipping of wind and branches causing numerous tiny scratches. Her hair was a mess and while her figure wasn't the 'best' in the world she was getting DAMNED tired of being eyed up like prime beef!

Galen Silverbow

I reach the river without anymore encounters. As I follow the trail to the edge of the river I can sense someone or something watching me from the other side. This is the boundry of the vampire's realm. I will have to wait for others to arrive before I dare cross. I draw my sword, and I wait, watching and listening.

Siegfried asked if he could ride a horse.

"Well... I can try," he said, sounding not entirely sure of himself. He had never ridden before, but he was a fast learner. And it was either that or get left behind.

Siegfried

OOC: Oh, I thought the armour had some weird-ass curse or something on it that make it like, "don't touch or you die" kinda thing, so I had Siegfried stay away from it. But now that you mention that...

IC: Siegfried.

"I would advise you to stay here then, Neil. But I will not stop you if it is your heart's desire. Luckily, the horses that belong to the elves are generally good-natured beasts, so they shouldn't be too hard to handle for a beginner. Here it is." Siegfried said, gesturing to Galen's house. The two young men quickly entered, and Siegfried was glad to see the folk were still in the dining hall.
"Listen up, other-worlders! Listen up!" Siegfried yelled, silencing everyone with his booming voice. "You are all to go to the King's palace, where the King will give you a place to stay. He may also have words with you; I am not sure at this stage. I, unfortunately, must be leaving, so I cannot oversee your travels, but I trust that you will not make any problems. The elves are deadly shots with their bows and the moment any of you endangers them you will have an arrow through your heart. The palace is easy to spot, it is the largest building in the city, located at the centre of the lands. You should leave as soon as possible."
With that said, Siegfried made his way over to where his armour had rested before hand. He reached down to pick up the breastplate, but before he did, his eyes fell on the golden suit of armour. It was indeed a splendid peice of armour, maybe just a touch too big for him, but still, if it belonged to the Minuri...
He picked up the golden armour and placed it over his head, before putting on the other various pieces of the suit. He then turned to Neil, stretching his limbs to get accustomed to the suit of armour. Somehow he felt safe under that.
"For luck." he said, with a smile. "Now, let's go get those horses."

* * *

Siegfried thanked the elf for the two horses, before the elf quickly returned to his home.
"Fine animals indeed." Siegfried said to Neil as he looked the two horses up and down. They were strong, fit, beautifully-groomed, and calm-tempered. Siegfried hoisted himself up onto the white one, before gesturing towards the slightly smaller brown one.
"That can be yours, Neil. Quickly, we don't have much time."

Trianna

I rushed to the forest trought the trail trought the trees as fast as my white horse could cary me.

My sword drawn I charged throught the woods to find Galen and help him i this fight.

I looked up to see him by the water's edge.

"Galen! I have come to fight by your side again." I dissmount and run as fast as possible into his arms.

Neil quickly mounted the horse - well, as quickly as he could, having never done it before. At least he didn't fall off.

"Okay, let's go."

Galen Silverbow

"Trianna, what are you doing here?" I ask as I spin around and see her running towards me with open arms. I embrace her as we meet.

"You shouldn't be here, but I am glad you are" I say to her as I tilt her head up so I can look into her eyes. "We have to wait for more help to arrive. There are guardians on the other side of the river. I can't see them, but I can sense them."

Trianna

"Galen, There is danger. I can sense it. Ever since they decided to snack on me I feel like they are a part of me and that i know them. The girl is important to them somehow but I know it is not safe for our people for them to have her. We must get her back and keep her out of their hands"

Galen Silverbow

"You should be back at the palace being looked at by the King's physicians, I don't want to lose you" I say to her as I look into her eyes.

I could hear the riders off in the distance. They were coming towards us from the forest. I put my sword away and ready my bow.

"There are riders approaching, by the sounds of them there are at least 6" I say to Trianna.

OOC -updates-

Still room for more poeple to join.

But a few notes of some questiosn risen in PM conversations

Vampires: As stated Vampires are more like elves than the usual vampire story charactor only they possess dark magics that elves don't have. Their bite doesn't cause any change in other creatures. Vampires are born, not made.

Elves: Unless they are a mage they don't have alot of magics past 'fairie lights' and the stuff that makes them faster, see farrther, hear better and all in all make them better at tracking and such. Trianna seems to have some nateral abilities awoke under the stress of being biten, a kind of sensitiviedy since I dought she'd want to be lunch again

Weapons: Most swords and weapons made by drawves elves and other magical races have minor spells on them to mke them better weapons but nothing fancy, the gold armor is an exception but at the point of time all powerful weapons have been hiden or lost, so that one like Lacy who can find and awaken these lost treasures of an anchent art that went out of use a long time ago is very wanted

Currenly past the 'common' magics all really big and great spells as well as ways of forging the anchient weapons are lost. Teh kingdoms are at a 'low point' in magic and such, making it a kind of dark age.

Siegfried

Siegfried looked back as the horses tore into the street, surprised to see Neil still in the saddle and almost keeping up. The sight of the man clinging to the bridle, his face as white as his knuckles, brought a smile to Sieg's lips.
Sieg brought his attention back to the road, where he quickly swerved to avoid a young elf who had gotten in the way. The forest was coming up ahead, and that meant a danger trap for the beginner horse rider. Even with the path, there was still many branches which threatened from the side, and at some point they would have to venture from the path...
"Be careful, Neil!" He yelled behind him as his horse took him out of the city.

The vampire that stands at the border looks around smiling as more of the border guards gather around. He steps out. Of the swamp looking across the river at the elf that was fallowing hem. He smiles evilly with he’s arms crost daring hem to com across. Red demon eyes start appearing behind hem staring at the elf hungrily.

The vampire calls “com on over and play with me and my friends elf if you dare.” He laughs evilly as the demons behind hem begin to snarl “Yes elf come play with use we would rely enjoy it.”

The vampire with the girl is finny coming out of the swamp a mountain seemmes to appear out of swops mists with a large black castle set up tight agenst the cliff wall. The black center tower stands like a spear of evil riping out of the earth leaving a festering wond. The vampire smiles saying “finely I’ll beabil to get read of this annoying girl let the prince deal with her.”

With out another ward he runs to the draw bridge that spans a deep gorge with a lava flow at the botem. The heat coming up form it is intense but the vampire seems not to notes. Moving threw the portcullis to the base of the princes’ tower. He sets the girl on her feet turning her towards the tower. He holds her shoulders with a iron grip.

THE PRICE

I look down from the hits of my tower looking down at the girl and the vampire and the girl. I smile coldly feeling my final victory in my grasp at last. I think "first I will get the armor that lies within the mountain then we will go get the sword of distortion. That lays in the land of the dragons lands. I chuckle at the idea of the power that I shall gain with the dark sword and armor in my passion.

I step out of the window falling feeling the air rush over my body and at the seeming last second tern in to the bat my wings snapping out filling with air as I glide down to the ground landing softly. I shift back in to human form standing infrunt of the girl. I smile down at her looking her naked body over. I raze an eye brow as I say “I’m sorry did my men interrupt your bath malady.” I chuckle softly to my self as I take her arm. I look at the vampire that brought her saying go help the other defend the swamps.”

In the end she had found herself swinging her legs idly bored as the vampire carried her and glaring periodicly into the shadows when a lude comment or two came to her ears.

Then she was set on her feet and before she could run she found herself facing an emmence dark tower like something out of tolkien! she thought to herself as teh vampire landed lightly before her and looked her over in a way that made her eyes narrow and she tilted her chin up defiantly glaring at the creature who dared to look at her like... like a horse he's consistering in the market.

What a scrub.

“I’m sorry did my men interrupt your bath malady.” he said with a cruel smile and she nearly audibly ground her teeth then he took her arm in his hold. She tried to pull away before he held her long but his grip was bruising. He ordered the other vampire away who seemed glad to be away from her.

Good.

Now if she could convince this vampire that she's too much trouble to keep. Well that could mean she'd end up dead but better dead than whatever he had planned.

He was distracted a moment so she slammed her foot into his groin and watched him tople over like any male would and with another kick she grabbed the nearest thing to come to hand and flung it the pole becoming a deadly projectile that impaled the nearest vampire that came to its princes aid. then she grabbed up another makeshift weapon in time to stop a blow, more like deflect it, her shrenth not a match for the creture bearing down on her.

She wasn't going to be taken!

The princ

I snarl with pain and rage as the bitch kicks me in the balls and kills one of my men. I fall to my knees concentrating on the Paine making it fade faster then any human could. I stand fast rage contorting my face. I move behind her grabbing her wrist that has the weapon in it. I squeeze her wrist casing her to scream with pain as her bounce grinded to gether.

I say in a cold voice you shouldn’t have don that girl I was going to treat you like my queen, I would have let you role beside me.” I stair down in to her eyes rage burning coldly in my eyes now you will have to prove your self worthy or I will simply kill you after I get what I wont.” I sneer down at her my rage seeming to pore off of me in waves.

I let her wrist go and at the same time I bring my other hand around in a blur of movement slapping her hard with the back of my hand. “That’s for the kick” I say while I look down at her laying on the ground a large red mark on her cheek. I glance over at the dead solder and smile coldly as I say “I must admit though you are a good fighter for a human that is.”

I tern to one of my men saying “go fined her some clothes while she makes my armor appear for me.” the solder solutes sharply and moves in to the tower to find her some clothes. I lean down and grab her arm agene saying come with me. I pole her behind me keeping her off of balance to keep her form trying to kick me.

I pole her in to the large arch way leading to the inner cavern. I say “now you shall reveal the armor of the enchant vampire lords my grandfathers armor. I finely fond it after cincher’s of searching. I finely found where the enchants hid it after finely defeating him. Then we shall find the soul reaper the sword witch will make me a god.” I laugh an evil humorless laugh. As we walk in to the dark cavern. A ring of dark rock pinler set in the center of the room seeming to absorb the torch light leving the center dark and lifeless.

Trianna

"galen there are more out there. I can see them. you must tell me of the minuri" I look out over the water to hear a chilling laugh ring trough my head. it was the evil laugh of sucess.I head into the water slowly wading accross it sword drawn ready to defend myself as I reach the other side

"Galen we must go or it will be too late"

Her wrist hurt her face hurt and if she could have she woudl have laughed in his face, Rule as queen? SUUUUUURE guys like him never share power. Even if he HAD made her his queen.. it wouldn't have been that way. She would still be the 'lesser' being. She knew it. His plaything. And from the stinging of her cheek a reminder too that likely he's going to be very abusive as well.

Finally he stopped and before she could grab her breath to make a snappy and hopefully dooming retort she felt that wash over her body.

The moment she was let go it was like someone else walking twords the center of the room. Again she was glowing again she felt that call.

and she fell to the ground spawled as if paying homage to something greater than herself magical diagrams lit up like a million lights causing the room to become bright as dawn. She knelt and raised her face to the roof ofthe anchent chamber words older than any spoken this day coming from her lips in tones purer than song. The spells light up with each word each sound sparking another part till something rose, like a demon it stood before the girl
We meet again she wispers yet the sound carried like the wind echoing throughou the chanmber and the being kneels to the girl.. as if she were a queen.
Standing she is bathed in gold, in light, no longer naked but clothed in the light the being kneels before her You are old.. and tired, yet they call for you still. Will you come?
The creature took her hand bowed over it in responce.

Then it was gone. All that was left was Lacy, pale normal girl but for the golden color of skin and hair unconsious naked again but for arm brazers that she wore.

This was the ledgendary armor of the vampires. One that only a woman could could, and only the woman that called it forth.

deamon rage

Neil rode behind Siegfried, trying his best to keep up. The horse seemed to sense that he was an inexperienced rider, so it did most of the driving. He just happened to be sitting on it. Somehow he managed to keep up with the knight.

the border

The vampire at the border smile as the elf starts to cross the river by him self. He chuckles as five zombies shuffle out of the fog of the swamp there eyes shining with hunger. They stand just beyond the water giving the elf room to get up on the land. Four demon wolves slink up beside the vampire. They don’t look like wolves for one thing they have black snake like scales instead of fur and they have fangs like cobras dripping with very lethal poison. They sit on there honchos watching to see how the elf deals with the zombies. The vampire looks behind hem as he feels the other vampire coming back throw the swamps to help,

He looks back at the elf calling out “Do you really wish to dye so soon pointy ears.” He laughs a cold cruel laugh as he watches and waits so see if the elf is able to kill thaws who are already dead.

THE PRINCE

I watch as the dark figure après kneeling to the girl and the armor appears on her. I smile evilly thinking not exactly what I thought would happen but then a lot of the info on this armor was lost over the censures. I walk over to her as the spell is completed and she collapses on the ground in the center of the black stones which no longer seem to absorb the light.

I kneel beside her scoping her up in to my arms. I look down at her as I stand saying in a soft almost gentile voice “It looks like you will be my queen after all, It’s a good thing your not ugly.” I chuckle to my self as I carry her out of the cavern and up the winding stars to the top flower. I lay her on my bed to sleep and regain her strength.

I call a servant sending hem to find her some food fore when she wakes. A few minutes later the vampire that I sent to get her some clothes comes up with a chest full of a verity so she may choose her own out fit. I motion hem to set it by the bed and then to leave.

I look at her as she sleeps for a few minutes then I go to my viewing pool. I wave my hand over it calling up the image of the border where the elves are trying to get through. I smile as I see one of the foolish elves crossing alone I think to my self “that is a foolish one.”

Galen Silverbow

"No, but you do" I whisper as I let an arrow fly straight at his heart. Before that one is even half way across the river I have another nocked and drawn. This one I let fly at the demon wolf closest to Trianna. I put the bow across my back as I leap into the river. The riders are indeed rangers, and they follow my lead. They follow me into the river after dismounting from their horses. As I cross the river I draw my own blade. This time it won't be an easy fight.

Siegfried

Siegfried reigned his horse up, just short of where there were the sounds of steel and cries. The sounds of battle. A sound he knew all too well.
He looked behind to see that Neil was struggling somewhat to stay in his saddle, before Siegfried looked forward, trying to see through the thick fog. His armour seemed to be humming and glowing dimly, as if warding back some of the fog, and he could just make out the sounds of shapes, and a huge black tower behind them.
"Dear god... the vampires' lair..."
He had travelled much through the years, but this was one place he had never seen... and hoped never to see. Summing up the situation, he decided his presence was needed more before him than behind, and so he spurred his horse on. After a short ride he reached the terrible river. Now that he was closer, he could make out the shapes of Galen and a half-dozen elven rangers behind him, wading through the water, their swords drawn.
"This cannot be good for my health." Siegfried said as he vaulted out of the saddle, pulling out his bastard sword as he neared the river. "Nor for my armour." he thought, imagining what the golden suit would look like when it was rusted. He mentally shrugged, before making the leap into the foul water, immediately setting off after the elves.

Neil struggled to keep up as Siegfried shot ahead. When they reached the water, he gladly got off his horse and waded in after the warrior, still carrying the vampire sword he had picked up earlier.
