Realms of Peril

She walked like someone dead watching only her feet ont he ground making sure to have one foot infront of the other

Niel

He sat against a tree as they stopped to rest and thought about everything that had happened to him since this whole thing began.

First captured by vampires. Then taken to another world. Then more vampires. Then more vampires. Then something about ancient wizards. And now they were on their way to an elven city.

Strangely, he hadn't thought about home at all. There was some talk about finding a way back, but he realized he wasn't looking forward to it like he thought he should. He wanted to see what would happen next in this new world.

He got up as the others were getting ready to leave, wondering what this elven city would be like.

Siegfried

After a bit more than an hour's walk, they rounded the final bend, and the sprawling trees of the forest gave way to the beautiful elven city.
Well, perhaps gave way was not quite the right word, for it seemed that the city was more a part of the forest than inside of it. Trees grew freely through the unpaved streets, and it was hard at times to tell whether something was a tree or a building, or sometimes both. It was indeed a wholly strange, yet beautiful place, and one that automatically made any who walked amongst it calm and filled their heart with peace.
"Ah, it has been too long. A glorious place to set eyes on once again." Siegfried announced, pausing a moment to take in all of the sweet view. "I am guessing you would like to take us before your king immediately, Galen?"

Galen Silverbow

I look at the knight, "Not just yet, all of you could use some rest and food. I will take you to my home to rest, eat and get cleaned up first. Then I will escort Lady Tiranna to the King, she is his niece."

We walk to my home, not a very elegant home. I show them where everything is before I leave with Lady Tiranna.

As we leave I say to the group, "Stay here until I get back."

Led to a 'home' Lacy only goes and finds a place to sit, quiet out of everyone's way. She huddles while many get over their shock to look around in wonderment and certianly enjoy the 'hospitality' given

she wasn't going to ruin anyone's fun her own mind though distracted with what she would do herself.

Siegfried

Siegfried smiled as Galen left, his attention quickly turning to the food. His last meal had been a while ago, and this was not the travel rations he was used to, oh no: elven food was well known world wide for its dainty, delicious food, let alone the fine wines they harboured. He quickly stripped off the heavy outsides of his armour, as well as the golden suit of armour, laying them down near to himself, before taking a seat at a nearby table and reaching automatically for the first bit of food, a strangely shaped fruit, which he took a huge bite out of without a moment's hesitation.

Niel stared in wonder as they passed through the elven city. He had read about things like this in fantasy stories and imagined what they would look like. But this place was beyond anything he had ever imagined.

At Galen's home, he joined Siegfried and some of the others in getting a bite to eat. The elven food tasted strange, but good.

Then he found a seat near Lacy, who didn't seem to be enjoying herself as much as everyone else. He didn't say anything, leaving her to the privacy of her thoughts but being there in case she wanted to talk to someone.

He looked out of a nearby window for a moment, watching the elven city and the seemingly peaceful forest surrounding it.

Lacy felt very very scared, and.. confused. Why did her hair change color? Her skin? Why were the vampires after her of all people?

She noticed neil seated next to her and without think just leaned her head on his shoulder, she just wanted contact to tell ehr it wasn't a dream, no matter how much she wanted it to be.

She figured she'd be back to whatever quilified as normal for her tomorrow, but for now she thought she was more than allowed a moment of panic!

Trianna

i followed to the house where Galen resided most of the time when he was not out on the march. Elegance was the only way to explain it.

I was at peace. My home city where I had run on the hills of Dranna as a child. I hesitated a bit outseide to take in the spectacular view of the city from the the house sat.

I wandered in to find the familiar food. The girl was a little bit out of it I'm not sure from either fatigue or the ordeal of our world. I picked up a rendrey fruit form the table and cut it up with my side knife and walked over to her knealing gently beside her and speaking softly.

"Here, you must eat for now. things will be better. Your safe here in this city." I offer the fruit out to her. "this is rendrey, it tastes like a cross between your world's apple and mango."

I moved over to Galen.

"My dear Galen. i must soon see my uncle and king and return to my duties at the palace but for now would you like to join me out in your beautiful garden for our meal?"

Galen Silverbow

"We have a little time before the King, your uncle, will require our presence. I would enjoy a quiet meal in the garden with you, provided you don't mind eating with a common soldier My Lady." I reply to her graciously. I had always admired her beauty and grace, but I knew she was not a woman who's heart I could ever win.

I gathered some fruit and lead her into the garden. We sat under an anciet oak tree, enjoying the rendrey fruit.

"Why do you take such an interest in someone as lowly as myself?" I asked her somewhat shyly. Her beauty was exceptional even for an elf.

When she rested her head on his shoulder, he instinctively reached across and put a hand on her arm.

They had both been through a lot today.

She snuggled to Neil dried eye and feeling.. cold. Likely due to shockpart of her mind murmered but she couldn't seem to get past that. Likely a bath and a night's sleep woudl do wonders, but she couldn't move her self to do either right now.

She hoped she got over the shock soon, it was getting old.....

That thought in itself was what finally started bringing her out of it, though she still huddled were she was next to someoen from 'home'

Trianna

I followed Galen out to the now aged oak that once was a sapling in the times of my childhood. I look back to the door checking on my armour that has been place against it. It's color reflects the color of the metal. Quickly I straighten my cotton garments and adjust the leather belt which holds my field knife to my slim waist.

"Why do you take such an interest in someone as lowly as myself?"

"If you are lowly than so am I. I am only neice to King. It is not like I am his child. Do remember he has a son ready to take on after he is long dead. You have battled well in the times that I have fought at your side and my uncle sees that in you. Lowly you are not." I move to the tree and sit next to him, taking a peice of fruit and bread for my meal.

"Tis good to be home my dear friend. Truely good to be home"

Galen Silverbow

"Tis good to be home my dear friend. Truely good to be home" she says to me.

"Yes, it is good to be home, but I fear we will not remain here for long" I reply to her. "Lowly you are not, My Lady. For you are a part of the royal family, and I am just a common soldier who fights for the King. My duty is to him, the kingdom, and the forest. What do you see in me that makes you think so highly of me?"

I watch her reaction as I eat a rendrey fruit. She has always fought at my side, and I would give my life to keep her safe. I have several scars to attest to that fact.

trianna

I lay my hand accross one of the scars on his arm. "this is why, Your bravery and they way you have fought for me when others would have left me to die. now I ask you. Why is it that you fight so hard for me?"

Galen Silverbow

"I am one of the King's personal troops, you are his niece, not protecting you would be an insult to him. That is something I could never do. My being a common soldier means that I could never be with a woman of your position, only one of a noble family has that option. So I do the next best thing, I stand with you as a friend, regardless of the situation" I say to her. She knows what I say is true, but will she care about that.

Trianna

"I know what you say is true but the nobility life is not for me. Seriously Galen. Could you see me frittering away my days at the palace in the flowing dresses and delicate slippers. I just don't see it. i was swordfighting before i could walk. I don't want that life. I want this one with you." i lean in and place a kiss upon his cheek quickly rising moving around the old oaktree.

Vampier Prince

OOC: Ok Lacewing asked me to play the vampire prince so her it goes

IC: my cold gaze sweeps over my lands form the tall spire jutting out of the center of the black castle. My eyes cold and with rage at my men’s failure to keep the girl or the armor that she fond. Two of the fledglings cower on there knees behind me. “Why did you bother coming back, I new of your failure as it happened.” I say in a cold voice that seems to put ice crystals in the air.

With out turning I send a serge of black power in to them a slight smile coming to my lips as I lesson to there screams of agony as there very soles are ripped to shreds leaving husks behind creachers that you would not think ever lived. They shamble of down to patrol the fringes of my land as mindless guards who live to kill.

I tern on my heals sharply walking to the center of the room where a bole of scribing sits. I look in to it conjuring the emerge of the girl. My rages at her escape burning in my eyes. I snarl the elves will not keep her for long. I then tern and move to the window turning in to a grate bat. I spiral down around the tower coming to land in front of three large wolves. I change back to my human form.

I say “go to the elfin lands and take the girl leave the armor it’s of no importunes to me.” I pass my hand over there heads muttering under my breath weaving a spell over them. I say “now you may pass in to there land undetected as long as you are in this form they will think you just wolfs. Go to the capital and wait for a chance to take her.” They nod and tern loping out to the gats building up speed until there just streaks of black and gray fear.

I then tern and walk in to my castile moving in to the mountain that it’s built agenst until I com to a large chamber. I smile as I look at the ruined temple of evil that sits in the midal of the cavern. I say to my self she will uncover the death armor of old and I will be unstoppable.

THE THREE WOLVES

They move fast threw the forests and swamps of the masters land not stopping for any thing. They finely come to the lands of the elfin kind. The slow down to a natural speed for wolves and slip past the borders. The elfin sentries paying them no mined. They come to the out skirts of the grate city and they wait for there chance moving around the city restlessly avoiding the elfin eyes so as not to seem suspicious.

Galen Silverbow

I am a bit surprised as kisses my cheek. I am at a loss for words for a monment as I sit there. Regaining my composure I get up and go the other way around the oak tree. I wrap her in my arms as we meet on the other side of the tree.

"Yes I can see you in flowing dresses and delicate slippers, and it makes my heart race. I want to be with you, but what would your uncle say?" I whisper into her ear.

Trianna

"Will he have to know? Otherwise remember am the daughter he never had. Would he refuse one of my requst. he never has before." I reach m y hand to caress his cheek

Galen Silverbow

"He should know, I don't want to betray his trust" I say softly as she caresses my cheek. I take her hand and kiss it.

"You will have to tell him, I have no right to make such a request of him."

Lacy bit her lip as she felt something then getting up she left neil with a soft smile saying she had to find something to eat.

She went outside and since no one stopped her looked around a bit trying to find a bath or something, she asked directions, got really odd looks but was finally directed to a public bath on the edge of town. She figured she'd get back soon but with all the popele at that one house there was no were for her to find a place to bath or anything.

Nibbling a roll she grabbed she tried adjusting herself to her serroundings.

Why? She wondered still trying to wrap her mind around the sudden uphevial in her life. She reached the bathhouse and found edge of town was an understatement, but that also ment it wasn't popular with the rest of the city but a few locals that lived closest to it. Also ment there was no one but the lady handing out towels at the door when she went in. Good enough for her uses. She really didn't want to share her bath. The hot spring area was outside surrounded by decoritive fencing. Stripping nd sinking into the hot water greatfuly. A bath always calmed her nerves

Trianna

"If that is what you want then I will tell him. But later at the palace." I snuggle into him

Galen Silverbow

"I would die for you, but I could never betray his trust in me" I whisper into her ear as I gently stroke her hair. "I hope you understand why I feel this way, but I can't decieve him if we are to be together."

I reach down and tilt her head back so I can kiss her lips. She is all I could ever hope for, but would her uncle allow us to be together.

Trianna

His kiss had sent shivers through my body. It had been years I had been waiting for that. My wounds were nothing at the moment. It was just him and I there in the garden standing beneath that old oak.
