I let the kiss linger, I wanted to do this for many years. She didn't seem to mind. I broke the kiss and held her close to me.

"I don't ever want lose you" I say to her softly as I caress her hair again.

I look into his eyes as he holds me in his arms. Suddenly a pinch in my neck where I had bitten earlier struck pulling my to the ground.

"Galen, something is wrong" I reach to my neck to find one of the gashes bleeding again. A blinding pain in my head rushes through as visions of the vampires and their attack rush through my head. The thoughts and the feel of their teeth ripping into my flesh run wild.

"It hurts so bad, don't leave"

I quickly kneel beside her, holding her in my arms.

"What's wrong Trianna?" I ask in a concerned voice. I can feel the blood starting to flow down her back.

i held his shouder to pull myself up

"It's like i can sense the vampires. I see them in my head. they must be in our borders past the protection of the magic and the gaurds. Get the knight, and the girl. " I reached up and kissed him deeply with all the strengh I could muster not knowing if i would be able to again. I watched as be started to get up"Galen. one more thing. I love you and have most of my life"

Lacy dipped her head under the water and when she came up after rinsing the soap

She saw the wolves....

And that was the last thing she could clearly remember

The Kidnapers

The wolves catch her sent as she moves to the bathes circleling them slowly sniffing the air carefully. One lets out a small growl of satisfaction as there is no one ells near. They move to the fence serenading the bathes jumping over it easily. One terns in to human form moving quietly he moves up behind her striking her horde on the back of her neck smiling as she goes unconches. He quickly throws her over he’s shoulder moving fast jumping over the fence the two in Wolfe form fallowing closely.

As I get up I scoop her up into my arms and carry her inside. I look around as I enter. The girl is no where to be seen.

"Siegfired where is the girl?" I ask the knight, almost angry that she is missing.

I head out the front door and run as quickly as I can to get Trianna to the palace. The king's physicians can help her better than I can. I get there in a matter of minutes and hand her over to the guards, telling them of her wounds.

I turn quickly to head off to find the girl. I start asking those near my house if they have seen her. I follow their directions tracing her path.

Siegfried

Siegfried looked up from his meal as Galen asked him where the girl was. As Siegfried struggled for an answer, the elf darted out again, Trianna in his arms. The knight got up to his feet, no time to put his armour on, he asked the people who were eating where Lacy had gone. One of them managed to point him in the right direction, and, with his sword in his hand, he ran as fast as his chain mail would allow in the direction the man had pointed, noticing he was running towards the baths of the place. When he reached the village outskirts, though, he could find no evidence of the girl. He did find a few wolf-prints, though, near the baths, and his mind was just working out what that meant as Galen came up to him.
"Galen, wolf-prints here. But no sign of the girl." he said hurriedly, wondering whether the elf could make something of the situation. He knew that he alone was too slow to catch the vampires and the girl, but the elves were a sure footed folk, especially in their native woodlands...

The Kidnapers

One of the two still in wolf form falls behind turning to guard there back form pursuit. He lies under some bushes out of site waiting patiently to start killing the pressures for there would be but they won’t get by hem with out some heavy cashiltes.

The other two move threw the would like shadows moving faster then any normal horse could possibly fallow for any Lakethe of time. The wolf roams ahead finding and killing the border guards that stand in there way. Leaving a clear path for the one caring the prize.

"Go to the palace and ask to see the King. Tell them I sent you. Let him know what has happened, and that I am tracking the wolves" I say to Siegfried in a concerned voice.

I quickly head off into the woods following the wolf tracks. They are easy to follow, since they did not attempt to hide their trail.

Siegfried

Siegfried nodded as Galen took off into the forest, before he turned and began his run to the palace. As he came closer, two guards stopped him, but he laid a hand on his sword and looked at each of them in turn, fire in his eyes.
"It is I, Siegfried, leader of the Knights with no Banner. I must have words with your king. It is an emergency, about the descendent of the Minuri." he said. "Hurry up, or I shall have to force my way in."
The guards shot each other looks, before raising their weapons to let him through. With a thank you nod to each of them, he ran into the palace, where he was quickly led to the king.
"Good day. It has been a while." Siegfried said. Unlike most guests, he did not kneal, giving only the slightest of bows to indicate the elf's high position.
The Knights with no Banner had none that could command them, and Sieg was a proud man.

The King

"Yes it has been a while" the King said a bowing his head in return. "Where are Galen and the others?" he asked in a cuirous voice.

Siegfried

"At least one vampire, probably more judging by the amount of prints we found, managed to get past your sentries. The girl, the one we believe is a descendent of the Minuri - was alone at the time, and they have taken her. Galen is, at this point, giving chase. I am assuming that he brought Trianna back here?" Siegfried quickly summed up.

The King

"How long ago did this happen?" he asks the knight. Not waiting for a reply calls for his guards.

"Send out the rangers to follow Galen and give chase to the vampires." he says to a guard that enters quickly.

"Are the others all right?" he asks the knight. Standing up from the throne, he heads for the door motioning for the knight to follow him.

He sees the elf fallowing the path easily as he runs. He lets the elf pass hem then he moves out of he’s hiding spot and shifts in to human form. He dross he’s long sword the faint sound of steal on leather feels the night air. He smiles evilly as the elf terns sharply at the sound. He thinks all I need do is delay but there is only one so I should beabil to kill hem ezily enough. He begins to move his sword in a bleary cercal.

I stop and turn quickly at the sound of a blade being drawn. I see a vampire circling his blade quickly in front of him. I draw my dagger and throw it straight for his throat. As soon as I release the dagger I draw my own sword. Ready for a fight I subtly shift my grip on the sword to a more comfortable feel.

As soon as Neil heard what happened, he rushed to the palace and waited outside for Siegfried. If there was going to be a rescue attempt, he wanted to be part of it.

He should never have left her alone.

The back gard

The vampire smiles contempt plane on his face as the dagger flies at hem his sword ezily defeats it with out slowing. He smile evilly and start to circle the elf his blade darting testing he’s skill probing for weakness. He’s sword darts out meeting the elf’s sword with a loud ring and a flash of light as the blades spark with the impact.

He’s foot dart out slamming in to the elf’s stomach hard throwing hem back in to a tree. The vamp stands strait he’s blade reedy for the next rush.

'He is good, but not good enough" I think to myself. Getting up I start at him and drop into a somersault past him and below his blade. As I come up I bring my blade across the back of his knees with a mighty blow, slicing through the tissue and bone. As he falls to the ground I stand and bring the blade down in amighty thrust into his heart.

My mind fadded in and out of reality as the memory of the fight drifted through my head. The blood and war and my brave Galen at the front of it all. the pain brought me back as I realized I was in the palace hospital being attended to.

"Must help them" as i struggled to leave the bed. The nurse held me down as I tried to move from where I lay.

"You don't understand. they need me out there." I got up and stormed out the best i could wandering into the streets back to Galens house to pick up my armour and then back to the palace to find Sigfreid.

I made my way to the throne room to where my uncle sat talking with the knight. I bow slightly then rush to him wrapping my unwounded arm around him in a hug.

"Uncle, our land is in trouble. The vampires made there way through our barriers and kidnapped a human that we rescued......where is Galen? and why did he leave me alone?"

The King

"Galen is doing his duty to me by finding the girl. You need to get back to bed and rest. The Rangers are following him to help give chase. He left you here so you would be looked after while he was gone" I say to my impetuous niece.

Turning to the knight I look at him and know he will do as I ask in this time of need for our world.

"I need you towatch over the rest of the otherworlders while the girl is rescued. They will be safer here in the palace. Bring them here so I may talk with them Siegfried" I say.

"I can not just sit back and wait. i must elp him as he has me so many times on the battlefields. I can not just wait around for news . I love him even though he not be of noble blood. i have for years and you can not stop the heart Uncle. I am going to find him and help him in any way possible." i turn wnd walk out of the room and down to the stables to mount my horse. i gallop into the woods looking for my love, following the scenery i had seen in my dreams and the smell of the wolves.

One more delay

The two vamps that have the girl soon com to the elfish borders. The vamp in front quickly kills five guards clearing the way for the one with the girl. They cross the river that leads in to the swamps that border ther masters lands. Then As the second takes of in to the swamps that border the masters land the first stays behind to delay until the other is deep anuf that the elfes would not fallow for fear of the daemons that guard the inner lands.

As the first waits for the pressures he is soon joined by four of the master’s soulless border guards. He curls he’s lip at the zombies but he doesn’t show them away. Instead he lets them stand in front of hem to take the brunt of the attack knowing that in order two kill this thing one needs to hack them to peaces or they would just keep coming.

The girl began to stir restlisly opening her eyes as the fowl stentch of swampy marsh hit her nostrils.

Then she felt herself banging along the back of a man and she was quite naked. The reaction was immidiate she didn't kick and sceam uselessly but slammed her closed fist into the man's kidneys so that he woudl drop her from his pain. Then gaining her bearings though she lost pressious moments from teh momitary disiness that swpted her as she stood suddenly after be hung upsidedown for a long period she struck the man who snarled at her again and made a run for it.

To run into undead zombies.

She screamed and grabbing up the nearest thing that came to hand flung a branch with enough force to drive it through the nearest zombie's thoat almost severing its head from its body.

By the the kidnapper caught up to her and she swung out with another branch trying to do a repeat proformance and take out a few more before she was brought down and eaten or killed or whatever gresom ending to her life was brought upon her.

almost to the castle

The vampire that had the girl gets up snarling as he holds his side as the pain quickly fads. He moves in fast ducking under the branch that she swings at hem. He catches the girl’s wrist squeezing hard casing her to cry out in pain dropping the branch. He then tairs off a strip of his shirt. Tying her wrists together and throwing her back over his shoulder. He terns and runs in to the swamp fast.

He laughs as the girl struggles to get free. He stops briefly and points in to the shadows at glowing green yellow and red eyes staring out at them. He say in a cruel voice " If you try to escape agene and I’ll let them have you they won’t kill you fast ether they like to play with there food first.” He laughs agene as she throughs the girl over he’s shoulder and runs on deeper in to the swamp heading for the castle looming in the distants.
