Reconciliation - Want to see the ultimate in Democrat HYPOCRISY?

Obama At Health Care Summit: "I Don't Count My Time Because I'm The President"

What an arrogant cunt.

Look at the faces of Pelosi, Reid, slow Joe, and duh1 at the 1:35 mark when Lamar Alexander is asking them to renounce the use of reconcilation in passing health care reform.

(For those of you who don't want to watch, HR and NP look like busted school children, JB is cringing knowing he's busted, duh1 just looks pissed that someone would step to his excellency.)

Leaves no doubt what this was about and what they are (were) planning.

Haha!

Why wouldn't they believe it?

So, the largest denier of claims is……hey, that awesome government run Medicare.

http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2009/10/...ay-to-demonizing-private-insurance-companies/

They deny at the same rate as Aetna.

Nice spin though.

The truth is, Medicare covers old, decrepit people that need a lot of healthcare, a lot of procedures, and therefore doctors order a much higher rate of testing, have to test for a broader number of things, and are more cautious.

In contrast, Aetna, etc cover 1-year old healthy children all the way up to retirement. So it's not a good comparison at all.

Oh, and private insurance is free to deny all of your care. It's called dropping you - because you need too much help.

Or they might just deny your coverage outright from the start, refusing to enroll you. Conveniently your little bullshit partisan blog "forgot" to include dropping any denying coverage as a factor.

But yean nice bullshit, lying right-wing spin.

Looks like you are in denial.

I hate to say it, but this wouldn't even be an issue if the Democrats hadn't been trying to be good little girls and boys and pass it through cloture in the first place. No one remembers the Bush tax cuts were "reconciled" through. They only knew that they did or didn't like them.

Budget, tax cuts, two versions passed...

What struck me yesterday was during the dog and pony show Harry Read, with his hushed scream tone, said nobody's talking about reconciliation other than the Republicans...

But not only do we have him on record talking about the process, but Obama ended the proceedings with a veiled threat about taking the process through reconciliation if the Republicans didn't cave.

Government is free to deny you care as they do in England.

What happens to your government services when we go bankrupt like California or Greece?

I also like how Obama kept telling Republicans not to talk about points they disagreed on, to focus on what they agreed on, not process, and then at the end had a prepared speech on everything they agreed on to show just how close they were and how if they didn't change their votes, he had a process to deal with them...

He was totally focused on winning over the wrong party.

;) ;) :D

...and when they made good points about what they wanted, the President cut them off saying, "it's already in our legislation." Insulting their intelligence.

Yeah, but remember the press keep preening his ego as the most intelligent President ever to hold the office...

Their Presence is an insult to his intelligence.

Another thing I like was how Obama displayed his business ignorance and ability to analyze current trends...

If we allow companies to conduct business over state lines, I'm afraid they'll all run to business friendly states where we won't have a whole lot of our kind of regulations governing them...

AND THIS IS THE GUY who's going to create more jobs with better plans and regulations from DC!!!

He doesn't understand why business flees the United States...

The US government isn't going to go bankrupt. If anyone thought that were the case, all investment in the US would be turned upside down a long time ago.

That was almost as hysterical as Obama telling McCain that the campaign was over.

Pot meet kettle...
