But good grits? Cooked an hour or so, and properly salted, buttered, and maybe a tad of sour cream stirred in? That's salve for the soul, even on their own. I love them best with corned beef gravy. Yes, I'm majority Irish.

Sorry to hear that. Burns are not fun. I had a 20yo in yesterday who had 70% burns to his body from hot cooking oil from a fish and chip shop. They were funneling it or something and it suctioned too fast and it erupted like a volcano covering him. Then as he instinctively turned to get away, he slipped and fell, being covered again with the second wave of oil.

Absolutely horrific. Worst part is, as I’m sure you know, he had no pain. That’s when you know how bad it is.

I hope your leg is all healed, with no deficit.

Damn oil has to be awful. Mine was from high pressure hose where Tri-clamp popped. It hurt. Then it did not. Then was awful 48 hours out. Waited to go to hospital. Bad scar but lucky.

Lucky it was the leg and not the dick. . Yeah I went there.

I joked that at least it was not my handsome face. And I use my legs a lot more than my dick so....
