Richmond, Va area ?

greetings

Hi Tiwolf, welcome to the Richmond thread. :)

Anyone else have trees come down in their backyards after the storm last night? (It isn't a big deal for me... just needs to be cut up and the neighbors will help with that).

One of the neighbors has one down behind their house that is resting on a power line... it was on two power lines and on fire, but it came off of the one and the fire went out.

VA Power reportedly told them that everyone is down helping out down south so they'll get to it next week.

Fredericksburg, Va here.

Hiya. :)

(Wasn't it just the anniversary of Janis Joplin's death recently?
Was that in... 1970? Hmm.)

Well if more and more area people keep popping up maybe one day there can be a Virginia Lit meet*.
We could... eat cheese and crackers and discuss current events perhaps.

*Ummm ... no, I wasn't suggesting that I would plan one.

:)

Evenin' ya'll. Thinking 'bout calling out the Coast Guard after all this rain today.

YeeeHawww! ya'll!

Sorry. Just had to let that out of my system.

Welcome Pussycat...to the thread, to the Richmond area...and to Lit! Pull up a stool, grab a drink, and tell us 'bout yourself...

Heh, not much to tell, really. Been in Richmond about a year, moving in with the boyfriend, and hopped back on lit after a long hiatus (forgot my old name and password) to have a place to talk about anything and everything sexual, one of my favorite past-times. :D

I may as well add that I'm 25, female, and happily attached, but can really put your mind in the gutter!

In the gutter? Methinks some would argue that would be a step up for me! Anyhow, thanks for sharing.

Good choice. can't wait for the movie.

I'm caught up in The Plague Tales by Ann Benson.

Not a romance but if you like bubonic plague... it's a must read.

Williamsburg, home of Busch Gardens... a top 10 USA vacation destination, boring? Boring, you say??

(hey, I believe you...)

Thinking of Williamsburg makes me think of getting ham biscuits, apples and cheese and sitting outside of that place in colonial williamsburg... umm... that sells biscuits, apples, and cheese.

(has been awhile)

Haha

HAHA Busch Gardens you say. I have worked there for the past 4 years in a row and I must admit im a little tired of hearing that god damn music for the past 4 summers, but it is great to meat all the cool people we get from over seas. Maybe if you should let me know if you ever head down this way we could have some fun. Or hell for that matter ill drive anywere in the state to have some fun!!

hee hee, I know the "joys" of looped music from several jobs!

I've had the pleasure of working at an amusement park myself.
Good times.

fun this weekend?

I'd love to find some couples or single men or women interested in some no strings fun this weekend. PM me if you're interested.
