Ambrosia, it's been a long time. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well. My whole family's been under the weather for weeks now, so you do have my sympathy. Anything I can get you? Blanket? Chicken soup? Tissue? The works?

Sick ward...hmm, just about. Seems my kids are dropping like flies, and mommy's next, lol. I'll be alright if I get the rest I need and take care of myself, but it's far too easy to overlook myself sometimes when there is work to be done and other people to take care of. Let's just say after 4 hours of sleep last night, I'll definitely be resting this afternoon during my son's naptime.

The theme is perfect, I found out today I'm the new sherriff in town. My principal called me yesterday and asked me to take a Math class for a while. They have a reputation for bad behavior and just ran off their second schoolmarm of the year. So I get them on Monday morning. I've had about half of them in my Science class, so they know that I'm a "you get the consequences you earn" kinda guy. The rumors were running rampant all day. I overheard one young desperado telling his friends he would skip school on Monday and get his class changed on Tuesday. It's either that or Boot Hill. I don't mind being Matt Dillon, if I only had a Miss Kitty to go along with it. Any Roofettes interested?

In the meantime, I'll just check out the wranglers in the corner.

From just down the steps leading off the Rooftop, a muffled "Hey" is heard and the sound of hemp rope being hauled up rapidly as a spool hidden to one side of the entrance begins curling rope about itself.

Within moments, Remec appears with a circle of lasso around him. He regards Cowgirl Nova and shakes his head. "There are easier means of making contact, y'know?"

Remec dahling, there may be easier ways to make contact... but somehow this just seemed like SO much more fun. Now let's see...to release you or keep you bound....decisions decisions.....

I really SHOULD keep you bound for abandoning the Roof for so long. But I know with that poetically savvy mind of yours there's equally skilled hands and a damn sexy body to boot....buy me a whiskey, and I might just forgive your absence.

Poor Miss Kitty. Matt never made her an honest woman. By the end of the series, she looked "rode hard and put up wet."
