Rick's Rooftop...an OOC lounge

He strides in, brushing snow from his shoulders. He scans the room and walks slowly to the cowgirl at the end of the bar.

"Whiskey, Rick, for the lady here. And a bourbon, straight, with the bottle, for me."

He looks into the upraised eyes of nova, meeting her gaze and smiling slightly. Then he kisses her deeply and sits next to her.

"Happy New Year, pretty lady. School's back in session."

My my my.....with all these kisses and whiskeys I'm a-startin' ta feel a bit light headed! But I must say...what a wonderful way to start out the new year.

How is my dear Viking these days....come back to teach the cowgirl a thing or two?

Sher, good to see you! Somehow I think if you look hard enough there just *might* be a dirty story or two on Lit worth reading. If not, I'm sure we can count on you to write us a good one.

Just here for a bit; still on the mad dash for the job hunt, with no luck. There was one advertisement I found online this morning, and responded to.....but it sounded suspiciously like my former employer, lol...so we'll see what happens there. Maybe if it is they'll let me telecommute again, if they're still trying to find someone after 3 months. crossing fingers

Have to take my coffee to go this time....but if I get a chance I'll stop by later.

Who sent the rain this way ? .. One day with 40 F and some rain and the snow isn't what it used to be any longer.

HT, don't you start complaining about one measly little day of rain. We've now broken a 40-yr old record with 25 straight days of it, complete with flooding, road closures, mudslides, the whole shabang. Even hard wind to bring down the trees and make the rain go sideways.

Better watch out or I might send it all your way. Then again, it might be nice to dry off with you in front of a warm fireplace.

Nova ... That is a record I wouldn't want to be part of so maybe I shouldn't complain even if I hate to see a feet of snow disappear in three days.

Two days the Inn has lain quite and the doors closed not visitors. I make only a half pot of coffee and slowly settle wit my cup by the hearth.

Nova's new job at Ricks more demanding as she finds new friends to occupy her time as so many others have.
