Not knowing what his answer would be she was definitely had not been expecting what had come next. Taken by surprise when his voice seemed to come from somewhere else, she quickly looked around and it took her a second to realise it was coming from inside her head. Her eyes grew wider as she listened to him voice.
Bristling slightly at the fact that he said she had made him laugh when she was being serous. But that was quickly forgotten when he mentioned sleeping and being the last of his race. He was the last of his kind, that would explain why her and her people had never seen one of his kind before. What would that be like to be alone, different in a place that is different from what you knew.
His hot breath shook brought her out of her contemplation as it warmed her skin and fluttered her wraps. No she didn't think he was dumb, she had seen the intelligence in his eyes and could still see it as she looked into his eyes now. But she didn't know him and didn't know what he wanted so she had had to ask.
She didn't know if she could trust him, not entirely at least but for now she would accept his word that he wasn't a threat. So she shook her head acknowledging she didn't think he was do something that dumb.
"A tour from above?" she repeated looking confused not understanding what he meant. Then her eyes were caught by his wings and she gasped in understanding. "You mean fly!!" The idea of flying both thrilled and terrified her at the same time. There had been time she had wondered what it would to be to fly, floating through the air. But flying was for birds not for her kind.
Also there was the fact that she would be putting her life in his hands, did she trust him to not let her fall. "I don't know if that is a good idea," she told him nibbling on her lip as she dragged her eyes away from his wings.
