He stayed quiet as she spoke about what should happen before they went into the reception hall. It was what he had planned on anyways, she just needed to re-affirm his thoughts without knowing. He gave a smile to the servant, watching him go running off to whatever his next task was.

As he followed Rahora through the door, he whistled softly at the lavish decorations. She had done very well for herself wealth-wise, now his as well. Though he was sure she didn't see it that way yet. He moved to find a seat near her, but just far enough away not to be suspicous.

His eyes traveled over the various visitors, beginning to size up the males. He wondered how she would begin to choose one to marry, and then how he would assert his own will on that one.

She glanced back at him for a moment when she heard his soft whistle, she saw the way he looked at the room and a smile formed on her lips. Taking her seat, she noticed the way he positioned himself. Hoping he did chose to behave himself, she turned her attention to the people before her.

Greeting them all she spoke of the feast and the hope that they had all slept well and enjoyed their breakfast. Many agreed and spoke of their enjoyment, but there were a few that did not speak but instead stared at Thratux. “Many of you are curious about our guest,” Rahora spoke, her voice coming out clear and strong, leaving no room for disagreements. “Thratux is a stranger from a far-off land and has been a sleep for a long time, until he awoke a few days ago. I have invited him to stay and observe the way we live. Please think of him as another representative. If there are any issues with this, you will bring them to me and they will be discussed.”

There were whispers and she heard the mention of him being a spirit, and a few did not look happy with his presence. “Now that that is clear, on to other matters,” she said ending that conversation. Indicating for the first representative to start, they started the talk of news from each of the tribes and problems and conflicts they had and how they can be resolved.

The first represtative to step forward was Brack Strong-hand, hailing from the south, the island of Spartian. His race were more warrior-like, every aspect of their culture geared towards war. Males and females were trained harshly from a young age to become skilled warroirs or die trying.

He growled low as he spoke, bowing his head in respect towards the Queen. He wore a simple leather loincloth for his attire.

"Thank you for let me attend. I am Brack Stronghand, leader of Spartian. Our island fares well, with realtively few problems to speak of. My people are hearty and healthy, fit and ready for battle. There have been problems with bandits, but nothing we have not been able to handle."

Once Brack stepped back, a smaller robe figure stepped forward, just under six foot. He pulled back his hood to reveal his face for the Queen.

"Your majesty, I am Jocather Nighthood. I am head of the Black Hide clan, keepers of all knowledge sacred on this little planet we call home. Please don't mind the eyepatch," he reached up for a moment to rub the leather eyepatch as he continued to speak,"we receantly had a theif try to steal an ancient relic of our ancestors. I had a bit of a scuffle, that is all."

Jocather, hailing from the island of Athenia, stepped back once more as he pulled the hood up. He place was taken by a lovely dragoness. Well, her race claimed to be descended directly from the ancients, minus the wings. The offspring of her race, Sylians, were usually female with the rare male offspring. They also could use phermones to attract their mates, the scents unique to each one. She moved gracefully to stand in front of Rowena, her long tail trailing before her.

"I am Mia Sytha, matron of the merchant chaste from the isle of Choatian. The trade bussiness had made our island the wealthiest, and a very stable ecomony for all. Bandits pose their usual problems to the trade caravans, which have been getting more frequent the past few months."

Rahora gave a slight nod of her head in response to Brack’s introduction and listened. The tribe from the Spartian island had been one of the few that had thought that uniting the tribes under a queen. It had taken a lot of convincing from the queens before her to have them join. In the end, it had come down to the ability to trade with the other tribes that were willing to join, especially when it came to what was coming from the mines. They were a people made for battle, and their land was the same and didn’t offer a lot. Brack had visited this island before but never as the leader for his people, so his father had finally decided to pass down the leadership.

The next to stand forward was unknown to Rahora. The Athenian’s had not come to the last gathering and had made their apologies. So, she had not met their leader, Jocather. There people had been very willing to join under the rule of the queen as it gave them greater access to further knowledge of the other tribes and the further lands.

When Mia stepped forward, Rahora’s eyes flicked to the side to Thratux to see how he reacted to the Choatian. She knew the effect her people had on others. Before the look could be noticed she brought her attention back to Mia, now was not the time to be concerned about his reaction she had to focus on her queen duties.

“Maybe during your time here, we can discuss the befit of a few of Spartian’s people going to Choatian, to offer their services as guards against the bandits. Of course, there would need to be a fair trade for their services which can be discussed,” Rahora spoke once all had been introduced.

Thartux folded his hands in his lap as he stayed quiet, sizing up the suitors. He could tell they had their strengths and weaknesses, but that could work to his advantage as well. Brack seemed very strong, although he seemed to be more suited for merely battle. He didn't know much about the island where he came from, but he didn't believe that he would be the right choice.

Jochar didn't seem like the type to fight, though the robe hide the imposing figure's frame beneath his robe. Again, he had his doubts on that one as well. Though he did find it interesting that there was a female suitor in the mix. He remembered that Rahora had mentioned about some claiming to have been with winged men, like himself. He could definately seen the resemblence in Mia to his kind. And have two females to mate with could definately help to solidify his need for power.

Jochar bowed for a moment, as did Brack. Seeing as they were finished for the moment, the two suitors went back to mingling with the crowd. The dragon watched each of them for a few moments, trying to form a plan on how to make everything go his way. He wasn't sure how Rahora would plan to choose, but he would make sure to choose for her.
