I'm actually in the process of joining the cam down here. My old troupe game fell through when I stopped running it. I decided that I missed it, so I'm going to give the Cam a whirl.

I'm a narrator in a Werewolf LARP right now, associated with OWBN (through Cap Rage, if you happen to know the folks from that game). I was trying to avoid narrator/ST status (as I ALWAYS get saddled with it), but the guy ST'ing is a buddy of mine and needs the help to get his game running more solidly.

And, wow, yeah, you have gotten even sexier now that your geekside is showing. Dayum.

The last website with the videos are good, but I wish they have had subtitles so that I know what they are saying, but the demos are good, so will have to be patient until they get to the demo part! *laughs*

New rules suck. I ran my troupe game with the old rules. I have like 12 gigs of old system White Wolf books on pdf, and more than a couple of bookshelves full of all sorts of old WoD product. I've even got some geeky/rare stuff ("Blood Dimmed Tides" is one of my favourite products of theirs, and most people have never even heard of it).

Well, it is what I do. I do a lot of different voices, have used props, change my body language, modify my walk, etc. I love to play multiple roles in a given session, so it's actively tough for me to be a player.

As to visiting, sure. We play on the second saturday of the month at what is probably Virginia's largest comic/gaming store, and one of the largest on the East Coast. And if you are interested in an old-school Werewolf LARP, I can get you the contact info for Cap Rage. They run in the DC area. Was in Stafford, not sure where it is now. I've not played with them, but I know a bunch of the people. (Hell, if you were interested in Cap Rage, I might travel up there for game. We're associated with that group after all)

Yup, I am, though, oddly enough, it basically ends at my waist. Below the waist, normal body hair. Nothing crazy. My legs are almost sparse by comparison. Feet are almost hairless.

*sighs* I haven't done any table top RPG's in a long, long time, but I've played the Dark Confrontation LARP at Dragon*Con and other locations for years.

I just haven't been able to get into the Vampire/White Wolf Games LARPs because the gothkids that seem to be 95% of the players turn me off. I'm probably missing a fun game but there's more to LARPing than running around in all black with your hands crossed over your chest...

Maybe if I there was a group of 30+ somethings playing instead of tweens through twenties I'd give it a try.

playing instead of tweens through twenties I'd give it a try.

While I didn't turn the teens (well, 18+) away from my troupe, the average age was probably late 20's - early 30's. I'm not happy with the kiddy crowd either. The game has mature themes, so I expect mature players. I'm with you on being unhappy with the younglings. Blah.

(The fellow hosting the party is a skilled semi-pro photographer, so there might be some very good photos, if things work out.)

not the same feeling as having the knots placed one by one on your skin and feeling the growing anticipation ...

indeed with the preknotted rope do feel a bit like cheating ... but than again the proper way should be with someone else doing the rigging so ...

until then ... will have to do it myself
