Second Life

I'm worried it would take up too much memory space on my computer ..... and everyone could see me doing disgusting things :D

The issue isn't how much room the program would take up on your computer but rather if your computer has discrete graphics and RAM memory enough to run the program. It's free. You can always put it on your computer and take it off a moment later if you can't get in or freeze up.

I'm thinking about it but something holds me back not quite sure what ....... maybe it's the fact that it might take me away from here too much and I don't want this place to die (goodness that sounds bigheaded but I don't know how else to word it)

Have just discovered SL in the last couple of weeks. Sometimes it feels like your own some weird acid trip. :) I think once I learn how to do things it will be a lot of fun, but I can already see how much of your time it can consume.

I'm glad you're hangin' in here Annie. I haven't been in SL these days either. College is killing me until I get back on the roll of filtering out UFI and VK (useless f'in info and valuable knowledge). XO XO stay the course!

I hope you get them filtered apart. What are you working on in school?

LOL... People skills, believe it or not... and database management and a bit of the more practical side of business ... So, new skills but fitting to my physical requirements to work at a desk.

I really want to finish this survivor thing but everyone else seems to have lost interest even Lauren as there is no sign of this months challenge

I've been thinking I should jump back in to survivor. I liked the triolet that came out of it for me. I'm just too lazy. But good for you, UYS.

I have enjoyed it for the most part although there are some forms I would happily drown in a deep bucket!

I've seen a couple recently from Tess.
I'm still playing, and now that my headaches are getting less
I may get some more poems out (my last two were for the monthly challenges -
so far I've done them all, 'cept I blew the form on the first).
Pushkine's page remains empty, but he's had some poems from time to time - I guess you were closing in on him and he didn't have the drive to keep up - makes you, so far, the survivor.

I've been wondering whether to say or not but could you put on the bottom of your entries which trigger and form they are please? Makes it easier for the reader is all!

OK - will do that next time. One I submitted today is poets choice and nosy neighbor trigger (and don't think its my best).
Working on my Ike (Hurricane) ballad - unusual weather trigger. I'll try to remember.
