I stand by the McGriddle as the best fast food breakfast sandwich out there.
Those syrup infused pancakes as the bread is fucking genius.

My kid loves those. She takes it apart to each the component parts.

That is something I definitely would have done as a kid, as I did with lots of my food. But, in my old age, I have developed a stronger appreciation for the composite bite

Yeah it’s the same with people who say you “need” to travel to understand other people. I’m like “No, I accept that people elsewhere live entirely full and wonderful lives in a very different way than I do without having to see it. Travel is just fun, it shouldn’t be necessary to make you a more aware person.”

It's specifically McDonald's fake syrup. I think its the nostalgia of going to "the restaurant" every Saturday morning with my grandparents. Otherwise, I'm a maple purist.

I don’t drink Diet Coke so I wouldn’t know.

Although I always found that the soft drinks were different in each store. Some more watery others more syrupy.
