Good morning everyone!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

So yesterday, I was putting decorations outside and couldn't get a timer to work. I brought it inside and tested it with a small lamp on a table. I could NOT get it to work!

My husband is watching me and after seeing my frustration, calmly said....it might be better to actually plug the timer in to test it. Seriously. Blonde moment??? I guess!

So goes my life.....

We have friends that own a ranch. So one day I was helping him video tape some horses. Afterwards, he suggested I take some photos. He knows me! So I did! He was off doing chores while I took these. I got over 150 photos! It was a fun afternoon!

I don't use a delay. My camera connects to my iphone via wifi. So the iphone becomes a remote shutter. I can see the shot, zoom, change flash, adjust brightness, change the Fstop, and other stuff all from my phone.

Sometimes you'll see the phone by my hand or my arm kind of behind me. So much easier than using delay.

I did some photos at the Golden Nugget one time and didn't have the wifi connection on that camera. I put tea lights on the bed. It's a wonder I didn't burn the hotel own!

Light candles, arrange on bed.
Set timer
Within 10 seconds, get into position on be without knocking over tealights.
Oops.... I wasn't fast enough
Carefully get up, Set timer again.
Within 10 seconds, get into position on be without knocking over tealights.
Oops...candle slid as I got on bed.
Camera goes off and caught me half-in half-out.
Carefully get up, Set timer again.
Within 10 seconds, get into position on be without knocking over tealights........

Good morning!

My heart goes out to and prayers are said for any of you that are affected by the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge fires, the Cambridge MA fires or the CA fire. I spent many nights in Gatlinburg as I traveled 2x per year for 10 years from St. Louis to NC. This is so sad and horrific.

If you are a fire fighter, please know I pray for your safety for putting yourself in danger everyday for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had an early docs appt. She was happy....I am pre-diabetic and my A1C went down from 6 to 5.6. My thyroid is stable.

After returning home, I decided to take some pics by the Christmas tree. MrSB was golfing so I was alone. I prefer to take them when he isn't home.

It's always a challenge to get started. Makeup, hair, decide what to wear, set up camera, set up lights and figure out what poses to do. After a while it gets flowing better.

Sometimes you can see the phone that I use as a remote shutter. If I look like my arm is missing it's because I'm hiding the phone.
