Shadow over Gerelden OOC

Geezus. I disappear for a while and you guys bring in a freakin' dragon?!?

And Zelthuros is supposedly possessed by one? That certainly explains the immunity to fire.

Hm...now what to have Jager do about all this? I could have him witness whatever it is that happens to Zelthuros or I could have him help out with the dragon that probably isn't Zelthuros (Leo hasn't said anything about a transformation yet).

Leo did say that Zelthuros went a long ways out of town. Doubtful that his current body could produce a roar loud enough to be heard all over town, unless of course he did transform into a dragon, in which case, yeah, it'd be possible.

Sorry about the delay, fellows. I'll get to that post right away.

And it's good to see you back on board, Jedi.

I'll be working on an IC post tomorrow. With any luck, I'll have it up tomorrow as well, and that what I put in it will be acceptable.

I saw what you did there Angel. Someone's been reading the Inheritance Cycle, haven't they? ;)

Hope I left you enough room to work with Master. Will wait for your post before I write my next.

Well, that was a flop, in my opinion. For one, I didn't have that post up when I said I would, which was a week ago, and I kinda had to force that post out.

Anyways, when the dragon starts to go after Jager, I figure Jager is going to start leading the dragon out of town, playing that flute of his the entire time, kinda like that piper who led all the rats out of a town and got them to drown themselves in a river, all by playing a flute. Same basic principle, except with the chance of death on the piper's part.

With the dragon now focused on Jager, Angel and Grimlock are free to attack with everything they've got.

Sorry for the delay, fellows. Something came up that demanded my attention.

I figured I better end that fight before Angel mutilates herself some more, DK gets mutilated by the dragon, and/or Jager trips over a rock and impales himself on his flute or something along those lines.

Alright, maybe that wouldn't happen, but still.

I can change that post if you want, let you play with the dragon some more. I have no problem with that.

Now that I think about it, I'll do that. Post should be updated in about ten minutes.

....

Well, that was unnecessarily brutal. In fact, having a new dragon appear out of nowhere and beat the ever loving snot out of the other dragon probably would have caused Jager to have that accident you mentioned, Leo. :)

Hopefully Angel will post again, in reaction first to Jager's actions, then Leo-dragon. Kinda want to see how the music affects magic users, keeping in mind that Jager learned that trick while fighting alongside his brethern, who have no magical abilities to speak of.

Indeed? I thought it was just the right amount of brutality.

And I'm actually half-curious to see how you would write that post out, Jedi. Jager impaling himself on his flute and all that.

But anyway, post updated. I realized a little late that I god-moded a little bit there. I wanted to have Zelthuros be missing most of his experience with his dragon form anyway, from the two hundred some years he hadn't used it. Tone down the awesomeness a little, you know?

I was joking about the brutality.

And darn it, now I'll have to write that accident in my next post. It'd have to be a close call, because in that situation, pretty much the only spot for the flute to impale would be the back of Jager's throat, and that wouldn't be a good thing.

Either way, I'm gonna wait for Angel, and I suggest DK does the same.

Waaaay ahead of you master. And now the old sword has been turned white hot! You do know that means that I will have to craft a new hilt covering as the things would have burned away Leo? Oh I am so going to kick your big bad dragon shins :D

Anyway, who is up for the coup de grace? I did enough damage to the big bad youngling

I haven't heard anything from Dormant, but Angel sent me a message this morning saying that hopefully she'd be around this weekend to get posts up.

And if you kick my shins, I'll kick yours. Let's see who deals more damage, eh? Haha.

I'm interested in joining your game here, leohawk, if you'll have me.Let me whip up an old favroite of mine....

Name: Los Zanderheim del Stelvinter Loquatia, but you can just call him Zander.
Race: Elven
Age: Even he himself has forgotten
Sex: Male
Personality: Zander is eccentric, if one is describing him politely. He generally acts like everything is his playground and flails wildly between his whims. One moment he wil clean a table and the next he will light it on fire because the room was rather cold. That being said, he doesn't generally attack unless threatened would much rather spend his time out of harm's way completely. He is known to smoke odd substances for pleasure.
Role: Zanderheim is an accomplished wizard even by elven standards, and a moderately skilled acrobat.
Appearance: Zander dresses in odd finery more in line with Victorian standards than anything else. He wears a yellow vest covered in embroidered suns and moons and stars. His long sleeve shirt and pants are both immaculately white. He occassionally wears long black cloak if it is cold or raining. Most people just remark he dresses oddly. He keeps his blond straggly hair loose behind his high ears, and his purple eyes lack visible pupils. He is of a very slim build, probably weighing only 130 pounds at most, and stands no taller than 5 foot 5.
Equipment: Zander is followed around by a small purple orb that floats just behind his shoulder. It sometimes appears to have its own free will, but it is how Zander focuses his magic. Aside from a list of small magical abilities that really just do no harm (like making a smal object levitate, lighting a torch on fire, creating a nondescript sound but not a voice, etc) he can cast fire, lightning, thunder, ice, and acid into rays, explosions (about ten feet wide), and blast cones in front of him. He carries no weapons nor tools otherwise.

Great. Another elven magic user. And he's insane too. Jager is gonna be thrilled.

Sorry, guys! I've been real busy with exams this past month and haven't had much time for Lit. I'm back now, though. On with the dragon slaying!

Finally the wicked witch ah I mean dragon is dead. Now Grimlock can sleep a bit, he have slashed, thrown against a building, fell from a warhorse and had his family sword jarred from his grasp. Poor guy deserves a break

I just got an idea. Well, actually, I've had this idea a long while...Flare, unless you have prior arrangements with Leo, why don't you have your psyho elf mage step in and save Zeltheros' scalely hide? Maybe knock Jager off to the side with a quick, powerful burst of magical wind?

I'd suggest Angel do it, but she's probably so worn out from the fight that she probably wouldn't be able to summon a soft breeze let alone a gust of wind. At least, that's what I'm thinking. I could be wrong.
